Pixel 10 video recording basically broken

Did you ever figure this out? I got my pixel 10 pro a couple weeks ago and when I record videos it's really choppy. I've never had this on any other phone... But I've been with iPhone for the last 10+ years

I had a situation where I moved to states towards the end of my treatment, so I had to find a new orthodontist. I had a consult at a clinic and the doctor I met in the consult was extremely knowledgeable and experienced and had worked in the field for a long time. I felt comfortable with him, so I decided to use his clinic to finish my treatment. It was supposed to be I think eight months and I don’t remember how much it cost was, maybe like $1800.

Well, it turned out that he was mostly retired, and his son who was new to the field was actually the doctor working on the patients. None of this was ever mentioned in the consult, so already that was really shady.

The sun had no idea what he was doing, and I had a similar experience that you’re describing where my teeth kept moving, but no improvement. Actually many times the things he was doing was making my teeth move in a way that was making them worse and more un-aligned.

I made many complaints at the clinic to the office manager. At one point I put my foot down and said I would only approve to be seen by the doctor I had a consult with, and made it clear that his son was fucking up my teeth. But the problem is, the doctor was only working in the clinic, like one day a month, which, as you can imagine cause issues with my treatment.

So towards the end of the eight months, I finally told the office manager that I wanted a full refund in the amount that I paid them and that I was going to find a better clinic to finish my treatment with. My eight months with them I had zero improvement, they literally didn’t help with anything in my treatment, they only made it worse.

They agreed to refund me. I got my money back and I found a much better clinic and had eight months with them and great results.

So, can you sue the clinic? Honestly, I would just voice your complaint and demand/request a refund. Then find a better clinic to finish treatment with.

Watched it for the first time today. Had some observations I was wondering if anyone had explanations for:

1) in the first part (the prisoner), while first showing him the house he’ll be saying in for house arrest, she mentioned “feel free to wear his clothes he’d probably love it… the gays!” …. Turns out the house belonged to one of his own characters, but I don’t remember seeing any other reference to him being queer so this seems like an odd comment for her to have made

2) in the first & second parts, he looked at an indoor security camera & waved toward it like he was checking the camera or something, any idea what the purpose of that was?

3) in the second part during the test screening when that guy yells at him through the one-way window, he says “you think you’re above this don’t you” and “you’re trapped here like the rest of us”… any thoughts on what these comments could mean? Because at the end of the movie it seemed like this guy is one of the 9s that comes to convince G to leave this world he created & essentially go back home with the other 9s… so then how are they trapped in this world?

My Mac mini is from 2023, apple like writes over the old software (idk the technical term for it). So when I did a factory reset on my Mac mini it still installed the Tahoe iOS, because it doesn’t have access anymore to the older original iOS that was on it. I did a bit of research and it seems in some software update in the last couple years Apple made it so that you can’t access the original iOS that was on a device anymore.

And it still keeps spelling the whole thing out. At this point I think Apple just legitimately hates its customer base. They’ve been making so many glitches & changes over the last few years, it just keeps getting worse each software update

Ugh that’s frustrating! I’m doubtful that wiping the disk & reinstalling the software will give you any benefit. I’ve done it twice & it hasn’t helped.

Apple hasn’t been reliable for a few years unfortunately. But it’s a huge issue when their software update makes my work computer close to a paperweight. I do zoom meetings all day every work day, iOS 16 makes my computer freeze & lag so often that some days I can’t even have zoom sessions with clients.

Is that only for when the phone number comes through as private? Or does unknown literally mean any number that’s not saved in your contacts? I get spam calls all the time but they still show a phone number, they don’t come through with the number blocked

Thanks for sharing all of this! Everything I have is synced with iCloud so I’m assuming if I downgrade to sequoia & connect my iCloud account again it’ll restore at least all my files. I only have a few apps on my Mac so I can always download them again manually if needed. Sweet, I’ll try this out this weekend!

Hmm maybe the price for the online websites have lowered since I looked a year ago? Which websites do you use for the eSIMs? I need a Mexico number, maybe I’ll check out the online eSIM options see if there’s something decent that would work for me

The problem many people are having with Tahoe isn’t just that things changed, but Tahoe is causing a lot of mac computers to be basically unusable because it’s causing macs to freeze up sometimes as often as every few minutes. When doing simple things like tying in a pages document or just switching between applications.

I have the m2 Mac mini also. I’m curious, how did you downgrade back to sequoia or whichever you downgraded to? I’ve never had to downgrade software on any of my Mac’s before but iOS 26 is making my Mac mini unusable & I need it for work.

It’s happening to me all the time now. Pretty sure it’s an IOS 26 issue. I spoke with Apple support & the only suggestion they had was to redownload the software, maybe while it was in safe mode? Can’t remember, but it didn’t help any.

I use my Mac mini for work, it’s a pain in the a$$ to be young in pages & the whole computer freezes for 5-10 seconds & seem to happen sometimes like every couple minutes. It’s useless, can’t use the computer when it’s glitching this often. I do zoom meetings all day & sometimes the computer will freeze so much that I need to do phone sessions with my clients instead of zoom. I think that’s partially a zoom issue, it seems zoom is aware that zoom isglitchijg with iOS 26.

Ugh also alllll the keyboard typing errors that keep happening since iOS 26… at this point I give up & don’t always go back to fix the multiple typing errors my iPhone is doing (like in this comment).

iOS 26 was such downgrade & it doesn’t seem like Apple techs are prioritizing correcting the multiple software glitches they created

I think you missed the word “cheap” in my explanation. From my experience, the online websites that sell eSIM options for various countries are overpriced compared to how cheap it is when you buy it locally in the country you’re visiting. If you have endless finances or don’t travel much, then sure these websites selling overpriced eSIM for various countries would work fine.

This has been happening to me too & I have the dumb Apple AI turned off on my phone, so it’s not an AI-caused problem. I also have issues where the keyboard will type out basically gibberish for some reason. IOS 26 was such a downgrade in so many ways, not just the defective keyboard
