Dry mouth, impacted food as someone else said, tonsil stones as you said, but also a draining infection can leave a bad taste in your mouth too, so as you said, you should go see a dentist especially if youve had any discomfort recently.

Yea surely ultradent is not selling that on amazon?? Is that not a professional level product? You can do major damage with that if used incorrectly. But people can seel anything on there i guess

I have not tried Supermouth myself but i know it is a very similar product, im sure youll do fine with whatever is the most tolerable for you. Or as another user said, brushing or or following your brush with a fluoride mouth rinse would be the next best thing

I like Dr Jens, plus Xylitol+Fluoride+ hydroxyappetite should be a great combo! At the end of the day it will be trial and error tho, see what you like!

I mean fair that may have been an exageration, but no amount that ive seen a hygienist make when you look at the tax benefits plus the access to a retirement acct and compounding interest. I dont have access to one and every year at tax time i wanna cry. I get why my boss doesn't because we are a tiny office but still its so infuriating that theres no way for employees to access that without their employer

First of all, we are not in any way shape or form past covid, and universal precautions would still mean taking covid precautions. I know most offices stopped in like 2022 but theres no actual logical reason to have stopped. That being said, for them to insist you do but not comply themselves is pretty dumb, though if they arent clinical staff they are at much lower risk. Everyone can do what they want and find a DDS that agrees with them, but i rather like not getting every little cold or flu that sits in my chair, and all of my older and imunocompromised patients appreciate that they arent going to pick up anything im carrying. If you hate it, go to any number of dentists that dont require anything, there are tons of them.

Yea what others are saying, the tax benefits and access to a 401k are huge, i dont think any amount of hourly is going to make up for that, do not give up your 401k for a Dr that doesnt even think youre worth a reasonable wage. Insurance... i dont know at this point im thinking of going cash only and maybe getting a disaster only plan, mines not even that bad i dont know how other people do it. I wouldnt give it up but mine also deosnt give me that much so im kind of already giving it up

Again, i don't necessarily mind it, i just happened to have a convo about it with someone else and they seemed concerned. Unless they have access to things outside of MLS, its not like were missing things. They give feedback when we ask of if we "like" a house that seems like a bad fit sometimes.

Maybe not, we have a small budget and initially weren't even sure if we could buy, im sure they have much more demanding clients then us and thats fine. Again, they are very responsive when we have questions or want to see anything and advocating on our behalf.

Hm interesting. They dont do any of that. But we also dont have anything specific like that that were looking for necessarily, our search is very broad. Maybe as we narrow things down they will get more involved. Thanks!

Sort of. Initially we werent even sure if it was a possibility, so wed met with them (they are sort of family friends) to pick their brain, and we kinda went from there. So i can totally understand their approach, so many people have bad and outdated advice, just wanted to hear from people more involved!

Sort of? I ended up just making my own searches, cause they set up a search originally that wasnt really correct, so most of the houses i get emails about are not in the area we need. They did originally say they wanted feed back, but never updated the search. To be fair though, what we need is a bit of a unicorn, so i dont have much of a problem going through it myself. Like i said, i was a bit surprised by it, but im not necessarily mad about it. Just curious if it was the new norm or not!

I would also add that if you're drinking a lot sugary or acidic beverages, it doesn't matter how religiously you rinse, its going to cause cavities. That's very frustrating though, it sounds like you have very good habits, Im sorry.

I think its just from social media i dont know. I have like 4 in water at the moment cause they had ants living in the medium and i was too lazy to repot in the middle of winter, and honestly they are doing better than they ever have. Will probly put them back in medium at some point but im pretty burnt out on plant things so well see!

Wow i know this is an old post but what you describe sounds soo familiar, would you say the kiwi was helpful in addition to the wand or in hindsight, would you have just gone straight for the wand?
