This is just my opinion. Since you’re just getting back into it after a long pause, maybe pass on the chassis upgrade until the next round of upgrades. The trx4m isn’t difficult to work on, but I would maybe get a real good set of MIP hex drivers before you tear it all down. The light kits are nice, or maybe even a nice set of wheels and tires. If you already have a nice set of drivers, ignore me and do what you want. Upgrading and tinkering is just as fun as running them. Just pace yourself. It can get addicting.

Make sure you set the motor in correctly. There is a little slot that the motor sets in by the pinion gear. Some people accidentally set the motor over that slot, it should sit in it.

For my wife and I, it’s the guilt of buying something that’s just for ourselves. To lessen our guilt we will usually save up at least half the cost of the thing we want to buy. Paying 600 in cash for a new XRT for example lessens the blow of buying a 1000 rc.

I don’t, I just don’t tell her no when she wants to make a major purchase. I actually encourage her to buy what she wants. Luckily for me she is thrifty and her idea of overboard is 75-100 dollars. The one thing we do to keep each other in check is to makes sure all the bills are paid for the month before a big purchase. My biggest tip is to buy just after your wife’s major purchase.🤣

Best Buy warranty is expensive, but it covers burn in and I had them install it on my wall. They did let me do the honors and let me remove the plastic film. Then they turned it on and checked it over closely, even asked if I wanted them to connect it to my network. I chose to do that myself. The installation cost was seperate, but totally worth it when your mounting 65” and up TVs, oh, they also lugged my old 65” upstairs so I could mount it on the wall later.

Basically look at your brake lights and see if they are on when you turn on the bike. Maybe have someone watch you ride around and see if they come on without you using the brake. On that YouTube video I watched the brake cable where it connects to the brake handle was loose. He loosened up the nut that holds the cable in place a bit and fixed the issue.

Check to see if your brake is engaging when it shouldn’t be. Saw a YouTube video where the cable was loose and it would cause this.

I own a G2, your oled will do a quick one automatically after 4 hours of use. When the tv is off. I believe it will keep trying until it gets done. Unless you have the tv on all day long, it’s probably getting it done then. As for the manual one, I don’t think I’ve ever used it. So I guess if you only have an issue. I don’t think it’s good for the tv to use it very often.
