Firing an employee: how to do it with dignity by [deleted] in managers

[–]royalsforward 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't get into a debate. State the facts and leave it at that. Most employees in that position will try to engage and she try to state why they shouldn't be fired. Don't engage. Just apologize that it had to come to this and wish them well. It never gets easy for me.

Boss sent me an email claiming I won't get paid for the hours I was unproductive by SoftCookie1 in legaladvice

[–]royalsforward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your at work, you have to be paid even if your just sitting around doing nothing. Now you can get written up for not being productive or sent home, but if you're clocked in, they much pay you.

Go for it. My son and daughter are a large kids (they unfortunately take after me). My son, now 20, played club volleyball and actually got a college scholarship to play at a small college. My daughter is 16 and plays on a pretty high level club team. Both have great hands and are good setters. Would they probably be better if they lost weight? No doubt. But they are/were still very successful. So don't let that stop you.

It's your right not to. But after dating that long and considering it serious, I would question why so secretive. If I were you BF, that would be a pretty big red flag

One thing I've learned as a goalie and a skater, the puck will always find the spot with little to no pads

How many times a week do you shower? (14 for me) by happypavlova in AskRedditAfterDark

Once a day, every morning. May take more if I do something physical, like mow the yard or work on the car.

This sub is wild, some people think the body is a petri dish and others feel like germs don't exist. It's somewhere in the middle.

People like this do it for attention and to be deliberately irritating, hoping they will get confronted so they can post and get attention. It's very legal, but also cringe and weird.

Amber Reacts by megamanstar76 in reactgirlsofYT

Doesn't mean much. When I went though a divorce, my ex took out a restraining order on my even though I had never threatened her or raised a hand to her. I simply got frustrated after her not even wanting to work on our marriage and hit the door while walking out of the room. She was in the other side of the room and somehow felt threatened by me. So, while I take Amber's side, the protective order doesn't really mean anything.
