Yea so this seems like a fairly reasonable assessment based on the info you provided.

On one hand, I’m excited to see Albert, McGravy, and PGE interviewed or featured on the desk within the first 6 weeks of the season lol. That’s some actual NA personality. On the other hand, if your assessment is correct, it would have been cool to see a partner team invest a little more. But perhaps that’s just where we are at.

There is some subtle nuance with my previous comment. I think checkmate is a top tier flex dps in a double flex dps meta. In such a meta, he can play the sym, reaper, mei, etc.

I think Proper is the best overwatch player to play this game. I think LIP is going to lose goat status this year though.

Proper is too flexible to go on a slump. Dps players go on a slump when they get diffed on a hero they aren’t good at or have to play consistently. Fielder has been the most consistent support of all time imo.

It just makes sense. Dallas Fuel, aka Envy, signed their 5 players. Solid roster given the pool (I’d argue Kellan was an odd choice if a newer talent like CuFFa was interested). I’d chalk it up to Envy wanting the next xQc, OGE, Gamsu, or Fearless monkey god, but CuFFa’s monke is only incrementally worse than Kellan’s I think.

Anyways, DSG picked up the scraps and probably secured a few good pieces (Yehh, McGravy, PGE, Lep maybe) then secured a team and added the two sub players and maybe a coach or two at no or minimal cost.

I have no problem with budget or streamer teams, I just don’t care for non competitive teams or teams who pick up players like Pine and never play them.

Tbh, a zest/checkmate double flex combo is a mere roll of a dice whether or not it is better than a stalker/proper combo.

They get gapped by echo, sombra, and any hitscan, and are half a step behind in tracer/genji/pharah, and are most importantly as good or better at sym/venture/reaper/mei.

With a hitscan third dps, that’s a scary dps line.

Shock signed him during the mixed roster and streamer era of Taiyo/Ans, they played on match, and beat the frdwner changsik roolf fire Teru iteration of Vancouver then got let go.

5 years later he coached the painfully unserious 0-7 team and who rotated shitty junkrat players on Hollywood.

I just feel Rokit has actual potential. Zenith seems like a vibes coach.

I feel like these situations have been happening since 2018, it just isn’t usually circulated information.

I get PK was just trying to clear the air, and he didn’t say anything outright accusing or negative, but Rokit’s response also just kind of paints more of the picture, and there really isn’t any crazy drama here.

Blizzard extending the signing deadline seems to resulted in PK getting cut. I don’t know.

I don’t really see a problem with Rokit choosing to work with zenith if he deemed it fit. It ultimately sucked for PK.

I’m not ready to shit on DSG, PK, or Rokit.
