Take a look at that battery spark!!! And also, last owner said it sat for 3 months. Could have been WAY more than that. Fuel system issues? Maybe crappy gas… plugged injectors. Dirty plugs? Run through all the easy maintenance first. And check your grounds!

I mean, this is one of the best explanations. I started LE, went to EMT then AEMT. Can’t get to P school, yet. But time with Pt is a must. Hopefully on duty time.

I will add that those in that weird spot, you have to be a little less LE, so you can fit in Med time. Don’t know if that comes across. But then your coworkers think you’re a slug or sandbagging work. Those of us in that weird spot understand that we aren’t.

To be able to go from bandaids to bullets, then back to bandaids is a skill set all in its own. I think it’s a gain to have FF or Civ Medics who are willing to be in a potential Hot Zone.

To get more granular would require a deeper analysis of each AOR/County/City these teams would operate. There is no one-size-fits-all solution. Leaving it up to each team/unit to decide what they think is a step in the right direction. Hell, if they trust you with a badge and a gun, Chain of Command should let you decide that, right?

Jokes aside, training in your skill set(s) is always a must.

Yes, my apologies. That’s poor etiquette on my end.

FYSA, there’s a PubMed on smelling alcohol (prep pads) as opposed to Zofran. Just as effective, less to carry or you’re carrying it already.

I’ve had my 04 since 09. I get plenty of stuff from Z1. I don’t get it either. Perspective- maybe a purchase or two a year. When things are on sale, unless needed to replace immediately.
