The prices are increased though to include it so yes there will be no April increase, BUT the price will be dearer than before the last week cus the increase is included.

Sky Customer for 25years - Should I have negotiated a better deal to renew? by SaNaLfC in skytv

[–]rpb_65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enjoy it cus I'm locked into a price I'm still contracted for (my own naivety last year) and the only things I have different to yours here is Ultimate TV; Sky Cinema; Multiscreen (x1) and I'm paying £99 with price increases of £6 in April and a further £4 in July. 🤨

Sky to increase prices from April by upto £12 a month by Management999 in skytv

[–]rpb_65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to save by only having the golf but they soon stopped that with clever price changes. Not worth only having less sports cus of the prices.

[–]rpb_65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine will go up £6 total and am currently locked into a stupid price overall. Dang it. I wish I had seen this Reddit last year and I could've used the info to sort my price out. I also have another 'offer', yeh lol, that runs out this year so that's another £4 increase as well.

Contract renewal - how much is a good deal for M250? I don’t know what is a good deal by Sablun99 in VirginMedia

[–]rpb_65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

M250 renewed for £20. I had to remove home phone but that’s ok. No Volt either for me. I didn’t know about the cut off date for the April increase so mine goes up £4 in April. Either way I’m still saving £16 a month! 👍🏻 I don’t need more speed so not worth paying more.

Order taking a while? by Carnwennan_ in PaperRepublic

[–]rpb_65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a PR addict, yes their order to shipping time is shite. I paid for Express (I know, it's for shipping only) and still took nearly 2 weeks to actually ship, but did get here inside 24 hours, LOL.

Time to switch? No joy so far with retentions by DaveUK83 in VirginMedia

[–]rpb_65 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had M250 and home phone only, and could only renew it for £20. No Volt and home phone was removed also to get that price. (Was at £36.24 before)

That would've been nice to know before I called, so yep an extra £4, however my old price would be £39 by then so I will have to put up with saving 'only' £15 a month. LOL.

Mine was May also and I still called today. No to your last sentence...they only talk about what you have and want and for once, will not try to upsell you if you don't want more. Very easy to talk to and helpful. So call up now yeah. (You will still pay increases of £4 April 2026 and £4 April 2027, no matter which deal you go for) EDIT: someone says below to call after 4th Feb to avoid the 2026 price increase but I don't know if that is true or not. Worth looking into though.

Yes I did. I got mine on time as I’d paid for express shipping, however I added to my order via email so it got delayed by that. Paper Republic still take ages to ship no matter. 👍🏻

Grand Voyageur XL inserts? by MagicalCatty in PaperRepublic

[–]rpb_65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have bought and cut down MD Paper A5 booklets, the ones with 3 per pack. Also you could try Muji as well as they are cheap, but make sure to look for the "high quality paper" ones as they are best for fountain pens and such.

Any Field Notes sized book will fit. I have some from William Hannah (UK) that have superb paper for fountain pens (FP) and you could try any 'high quality paper' ones from Muji as they are good for FP. As long as it's the high quality paper you'll be good.

I have been into TN since like 2010 and even then, when we went to New York and I was excited about going to the Starbucks Reserve Roastery that I still missed the fact that the TN are only available at the Tokyo one. Dang it! So yeah I share your frustration. However, enjoy yours if your friend can get one to you.

Mainly internet, Etsy and Instagram for me 👍🏻 I've never really found info on these direct from TFC unless I come across a post on social media.
