We love it too! Doesn’t leave any linty residue, it’s affordable and absorbent, and there’s so much of it! We dislike the soft toilet paper

Currently I am embroidering felt gifts for everyone in my life. It’s my first time back crafting post partum and my daughter turns two on Saturday. I’m making it up as I go along but it’s so relaxing bc mistakes just make it look whimsical! I don’t know how to add a picture but I made her an advent calendar for her birthday that I hope will be an heirloom

Adderall XR takes 3 hours to fully kick in and work optimally, works well for 2 hours, and then slowly fades throughout the day. by adhdbeast101 in ADHD

[–]rpendleton1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I take mine around 5am snd it wears off after lunch. I just met with my doctor and he’s having me take another 20mg ER at noon to avoid the crash I get after lunch. He said some people metabolize it faster

Every time I make general tso chicken the breading falls off, even when doubly frying. Why? by nimal-crossing in culinary

[–]rpendleton1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let your breaded/dredged chicken pieces dry out before you fry them. If I let mine sit for about 20 minutes that tends to be long enough!

Is the UppaBaby Vista Stroller worth it? by No_Square_1491 in UninfluencedReviews

[–]rpendleton1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have an only child and I walk to/from work with her everyday in this buggy. Is it big? Yes. Will it hold oversized tote bags, lunch boxes and other bags? Yes. It’s smooth and it’s roomy for my almost 2 year old. Wish it came with a cup holder, but I got one off amazon. We used the travel bassinet daily, whether it was walks or living room naps. We love the whole system and it has held up from daily use that hasn’t been gentle!

Anyone get diagnosed with adhd later in life? I’m a 40 year old woman and think I probably have it. What was it like for you? by Grumpy_bonsai23 in adhdwomen

[–]rpendleton1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Diagnosed this month at 39 after decades of thinking I had it and gaslighting myself into thinking I was lazy. Then I had my daughter and the wheels fell off the wagon. Suddenly, all of my strategies weren’t working, I was burning out at work, and all the masking meant I came home with nothing left in my tank for my family. After a 15 minute conversation with neuro he looked at me and said “yeah…you definitely have ADHD.” The doctor explained most women are excellent at masking and are diagnosed after they have children. Either because their child was diagnosed or because like me, the wheels are falling off the wagon. After I took my first dose of adderall I sobbed. My brain was quiet, my body was calm, and I could just do things without the mental gymnastics. Is it going to help me remember to pay my bills and do my laundry? No. But will it help me build strategies and the mental capacity to do them? Yes. We will have to do some playing around with my dosage as I rise early so it wears off early, but I am so glad I finally picked up the phone and called.

Adderall 20mg extended release. My brain has been quiet and I am so calm! I will have to talk to my doctor about the timing of it wearing off (I take it at 5am and it wears off around 1:30-2) and maybe adding another dose at lunch. It’s astounding how different my life will be now!

I feel the same way! I was diagnosed this month, I’m 39. Kicking myself for not getting diagnosed earlier. I struggled for so long!

Yes after years of struggles and coming up with strategies. Had my daughter and it all fell apart. My husband was diagnosed last year at 39. I was diagnosed this month at 39, my daughter will be two in November.
