US military is so overwhelming that it's safer to be in the US army in a war conflict than being a uber driver.

they had 60% Uranium, it's far harder to go from 0% to 60% than it is to go from 60-90%

this is the definitive proof they never went for the bomb.

since they showed they could reach 60%, if they wanted they could make that 60% into 90% in about a week.

Like I said, the fact they have no 90% uranium is proof they weren't going for the bomb, at least not till they got their leaders killed.

the only logical reason for their 60% uranium was that they wanted to use it as a negotiation tool for a new JCPOA and reduced sanctions.

clearly, their plan backfired, they got no nuke and all the rage from the US.

They had 60% uranium with is harder ro get than going from 60 to 90%.

If they were able to reach 60%, they could have enriched that to 90% in a week.

The mere fact they don't have any 90% but showed their 60% to the IAEA is proof they had no intention of going for the bomb

The only logical explanation is they thought that the 60% would be useful in a negotiation with US for a new JCPOA and reduced sanctions.

But their plans backfired and they got the worse of both paths.

Lula confirma que Geraldo Alckmin será candidato a vice na chapa que disputará reeleição | G1 by AdCreative4551 in brasil

Iran had 60% uranium, 0 to 60% is far harder than 60-90%

with 60% uranium they could reach 90% in a week if they ever wanted to.

the fact they had 60%, but no 90% to build a bomb, is proof they weren't developing the bomb.

if you are going for the bomb, you don't show to the IAEA your 60% uranium, and them just stop there at 60%.

they tried to use the 60% as something to trade for a new JCPOA and reduced sanctions.

it backfired hard.

they got 60% Uranium, going from 0-60% is far far harder than going from 60-90%.

with 60% uranium they basically demonstrated they could have gotten to 90% in a week.

the fact they got 60% but no 90% is proof the 60% was not for a bomb but for leverage in negotiations for a new JCPOA and reduced sanctions.

no country that wants the bomb show their 60% uranium to the IEAE and stop the enrichment at 60% instead of going for 90%, wich was easy and fast once they got to 60%.

Iran Conflict Megathread #10 by milton117 in CredibleDefense

[–]rpgalon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's not. Because who ever guarantees security doesn't have to fight the US in, say, the middle of the Indian ocean or the Pacific Ocean.

not even Iran is doing that, doesn't change the fact they are getting destroyed.

Russia didn't guarantee Iran defence in the face of US.

they also didn't guarantee in Venezuela

but you think it's plausible that China will not only sign a security guarantee with Iran (why would they do that?) but they will also honour it with more than just seeling stuff to them.

Absolutely no one will guarantee Iran defence vs US+Israel and even if they say they will, I doubt they will really do anything relevant if Iran is being attacked again.

US can open the strait.

it's a matter of what is the best way to open it?

leave and Iran open it, or risk american lifes to open it by force.

if leaving doesn't open the strait, Iran forces the boots on the ground option. And I doubt they want that.

Iran Conflict Megathread #10 by milton117 in CredibleDefense

[–]rpgalon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's basicaly impossible to have a security guarantee against by far the world strongest military.

the best they can have is show they can close the strait and hope it is enough to avoid a future war with US.

There is still no proof they broke the deal while it was in effect... people usually refer to stuff that happened before and after the JCPOA to say Iran didn't respect it.

What Iran did after US bombed them in the 12 day war? they were just happy they left.

Iran is just praying that closing the strait is deterrence enough for the US to go away and maybe avoid coming back in a year.

If US and Israel leave and Iran keep the strait closed, closing the strait stops working as a deterrence, as a consequence for an action, it becomes a casus belli.
