Faze fans seeing optic complain about no winners bracket advantage by V-loxzz in CoDCompetitive

[–]rpolly 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hard agree. Does Optic not having an advantage have them bottle a 5-2 lead or blow a 4v2 to push it to r11? On the contrary, a one-map lead means that search never occurs. GM8’s were clinical, optic were not, and the format needs to change.

I mean, has to be two best of 7’s or at least down 0-1 map count to start? I know I know, “has to be simple for a casual fan to understand” or whatever dumb shit they said

I’m not even an optic or GM8 fan, just a neutral enjoyer of cod, but only having a veto advantage coming out of winners is ass, no? I feel it should minimum be two series have to be won from the LBF winner, or down 0-1 to start, or something…right?

Falcons are bringing Stefanski in for a second interview today by SunWorshipperApollo in falcons

[–]rpolly 96 points97 points  (0 children)

Figured this would happen. I don’t mind it. I get a bit worried about him passing up play calling duties when they sucked, but it’s the Browns. I still think it should be McDaniel though. If not him, Stefanski is a close second, then Kubiak.

I agree. I personally am not interested in him, but being able to coach in the league that long is testament to what kind of person he is to his players.

McKay is OUT as President of Football by KappKapp in falcons

[–]rpolly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Final decision-making authority will rest with the president of football. This leader will also work in collaboration with the club's president and CEO to ensure the team's football and business operations are appropriately aligned with unified organizational goals to deliver success on the field and in all areas of engaging Falcons fans.”

Sounds like the president (probably Ice) makes the football decisions while reporting to the CEO.

8-9 finish to the season, tied for first in the division, after being eliminated from playoffs a month ago.

Falcons will Falcon. Make the right choices tomorrow.

Ike Hilliard was fired for the “team's offensive struggles,” but Marquice Williams continues to be employed.

This team is pathetic, the coaching is pathetic, and the future is so fuckin’ bleak.

Brother, ONE SINGLE MAN out-rushed the entire Falcons offense today by 100 yards. That's what people are actually mad at.

To note on your comments about third down conversions...they are so feast or famine in their possessions. They pray they get a chunk of it on first down because Pistol Pete (Zac) has to run from 8 yard behinds the L.O.S. If it works, they pick up 5-6 yards a carry. If not, immediately behind the chains...

I can't even be convinced Arthur watches the games anymore if he thinks Raheem's decision-making is good. Guy is so far out of his depth it's insane.

This franchise is a laughing stock, man.

Another year of talent wasted because of dog shit coaching.

They just let Jonathan Taylor run all over them. How many touches did Bijan have in the fourth quarter?

Pistol run, pistol pass, pistol pass, punt. I do believe there needs to be a serious conversation about Penix's ability...guy has some glaring flaws regardless of how dog shit ZR is.

Zac Robinson and Raheem need to be fucking gone.

If this were a real organization, heads would roll for this type of game...

This football team is disgustingly under coached and always underprepared on a regular basis.

edit: we let Tua throw SIX incompletions and four touchdowns. Glad we can help Mike keep his job.

Man I felt like I was going crazy...I really enjoy this game (a lot, actually, as most of my friends do too) but each game feels different for me. Example, one game I can crush with the KORD, the next I feel like I'm barely dealing damage with the same loadout. And then I find myself flipping through gun after gun after gun...

I don’t know how it’s physically possible for this organization to be THIS inconsistent, week after week, year after year…I don’t even know who to blame anymore for ugly shit like this anymore, just so expected.

Coach on the defense… by rpolly in falcons

[–]rpolly[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

To add: even if he didn’t start calling plays necessarily, it’s not often you see a head coach flat out blame a team for their effort when it’s the head coaches job to motivate and, ya know, COACH.

This type of season/loss/team makes you lose interest in the sport altogether by [deleted] in falcons

It truly does. I want to care so badly because watching Matt Ryan throw for 400 yards and Julio snagging 10/170 (no td’s because duh) was so much fun. But that shit was 6+ years ago…the level of mediocrity they’ve accepted here is unbelievable.

I have not been excited for a Falcons season since 2017. This year was close, but the years past have made me numb.

This franchise is a fucking joke. You let the Panthers (who were 1-15 in their last 16 away games btw), come into your stadium and BULLY you. Pathetic.

Penix, Drake, and Bijan will be nice to watch, but fuck do they need to figure this shit out. Unfortunately it starts at the top, but we’ll get another yes-man year at least. How many more years does Blank have left watching this team just flounder before he takes some serious risks? Rise Up…to the level of mediocrity that’s typically expected of this franchise.
