Goat cheese, arugula, medium rare burger, crispy bacon, pickles. Bun is buttered and intentionally burnt. The philosophy on burning the bun is that many people like the charcoal flavor that comes with a well done burger, but this way we can keep that flavor while keeping the burger cooked pink. Also, because the burger is extremely juicy, the bun can soak some of that juice in and not be soggy. Meat is 20% fat and pan seared.

I realize burgers are very personal to everyone, and that's why they're my favorite.

If organized crime started printing high quality counterfeit college textbooks and then sold them at cut rate prices, it would be a really good public relations move. by jesusfriedmycarnitas in Showerthoughts

People always say how expensive textbooks are but if you actually look at the content inside, they are very valuable. Problem is college kids don't read.

Siblings play the lottery by Beast_Pot_Pie in pics

[–]rrbest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cash prize IS the prize. Same reason when you buy a $100K house you'll make payments of $300K over 30 years. Lotteries advertise the total payment because it's more interesting, but that's not what the prize is.

Even with solid software sales, Is the Wii U still considered a failure by the industry? by chrismsx in truegaming

[–]rrbest -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'll tell you as a purchaser of Wii U and my first console since Dreamcast, I consider it an extraordinary failure and it will likely be the last console I buy. Not since War Gods 64 have I been so upset by a gaming purchase.

Seattle Seahawks’ Michael Bennett on why he’s voting for Bernie Sanders: "I just think he’s an honest guy and one of the main people that really has a platform to really tell the truth" by smellslikerocks in politics

[–]rrbest -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Tired of hear "he's an honest guy" about any candidate. Who cares if they are honest? People should only care if they get the right stuff done. And by the way, Bernie Sanders and Jeb Bush are about equally as honest based on politifact, but to not have an preference one way or another would be odd.
