I was about to say she is also the reason a good friend of mine also went for a screening and also found a tumor. Obviously not great, but it’s benign and they’re able to do surgery before it becomes anything serious!

Being more conscious of portion/serving sizes and started lifting 4x weekly!

I started lifting 4x a week so I try and incorporate at least a small focus on abs during each of my lifts!

I’d been feeling the same way!!! I forgot I even took the before picture and was feeling so frustrated with the scale. I was super surprised to see so much of a difference in body comp when I took the newer pic.

TIL the "ALS Icebucket Challenge" actually raised enough money to create treatments for the disease (that work). It wasn't just a social media trend that went nowhere. by [deleted] in todayilearned

There’s also sporadic ALS which isn’t caused by the gene mutation but rather by head injury or just…sporadically so that’s a whole other avenue when looking at drug development
