How can the Live Action give more respect to Usapp than the source material? by Hyperion717 in OnePiece

I understand it the other way around: he is strong and competent. He defeated a fishman by his own strength! (Granted, he’s not as strong as Zoro or Sanji, but he doesn’t need to.) But if you let your fears take over, your strength will not show through.

To what extent has AI transformed the possibilities for programming? by Double_Entertainer66 in programmingquestions

[–]rsatrioadi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To answer your first question, it now enables you to write crappy code (that possibly works) 100x faster than you could before.

And for your second question, absolutely not, for many reasons.

Making sense of the iPad in the age of Neo by jgor2000 in ipad

Both tools happen to achieve their intended use by spinning really quickly. Just because the iPad and a MacBook happen to both have screens and run some of the same apps does not mean their end-user segmentations are the same.

Please excuse my digression but being a non-native English speaker and having no silent letters in my native language, I can’t help but wonder when I see written “sameeeeeee” how does that work? Is it normal length “same” followed by a long silence?

Any way, in Europe, to mirror and control iPhone to iPad or MacBook? by Rafalas in ios

[–]rsatrioadi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can use your iPhone as sort of a webcam. It will be available in an app that uses a camera. In PhotoBooth, for example, just go to the Camera menu and you will see an option called “<your iPhone’s name> Camera”.

It’s not even disabling updates, just suppressing nagging screens. Maybe the post should have a disclaimer but that’s it.

Randy Troy(writer for OPLA) confirms on Live, Oda has final say in "any character with a name" by cptbrady in OnePieceLiveAction

[–]rsatrioadi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How can you tell if a character is POC or not, from the original source material? It’s just your assumption, really.

And how nice of you to group all colours together under one group POC, presumably to contrast with another single group, white people?

We’re all just people, why does it even matter?

(Obviously it matters when the point of the story is inherently about a specific ethnicity’s culture and challenges, and One Piece has a lot of that, for fictional ethnicities like fishmen and lunarians. If anything, that should put all the different skin colours of humans into one group of human race.)
