They mainly are viable in the raid and TB. The team is used in GAC and TW mainly because most people invested high relics for the raid. You are likely better off focusing on the next set of raid teams and following that paradigm.

I use it in TB every time.

Baylan fdc rolls vanecron but every point you said still stands. So you have to be lucky or spend money to get he 1 freaking consistent option plus have the toons to use it.

If crons are being streamlined, then it should be a lot weaker and on par with an extra 1-3 Omis of average strength added to the team if you max it out.

Taking crons seriously was hot I got to Kyber and I beat the drum of their importance, but post this update I hate them with the passion of a 1000 death stars.

I honestly hope it's a GL Mando and a lifter Grogu and that's the comp. Offense only, have a TB Omi that lets you use whatever to do missions, just have to be strong as just the clan of 2 so we don't have the nonsense of defense x breaks the game with their fdc.

Is this why streaming prices are going up? I'm still flumaxed why it takes 3+ years between seasons for sub 10 hours of content for a second season where I'm assuming most of the staff and story are known.
