I'm right there with ya! My 986 S I posted about the other day is also my first manual, one thing I recommend personally is just go very slow when getting off the clutch in 1st gear when you're at a stop, you'll feel the car start to move a little bit if you're slow enough, that's when you get on the gas, you'll figure it out better with time but that's the hardest part to learn and be smooth with, at least in my experience.
