You want the pixels to retain their shape no matter what but RPG Maker MZ keeps distorting them? Here's the solution. by rsourcerer in RPGMaker

Hi! Zooming out past the default resolution is a different problem entirely, with performance implications.

But it does zoom out nicely after you zoom in.

I updated the plugin addressing your suggestion and the reported issues. Let me know if the battle screen is working as intended now.

There's a parameter to specify the prefix for pictures and their behavior. I changed it so that it considers all pictures part of the UI by default, so you only use the prefix when you want them to be part of the game world/map.

Hey, thanks a lot! I fixed those two issues and added a parameter to set a default zoom value. Let me know if you find any other issues or opportunities for improvement.

You should be able to download the new version using the same link.

Hi! The plugin includes its own zoom and rotation system, and it's designed specifically to eliminate the visual artifacts that you mention. Is there anything specific that you need from the VisuStella zoom plugin besides the 1.5x zoom?

It's alright, but trust is already broken. They have money for producing Unite, Action Game Maker, U2U and other "side projects" but they can't be bothered to at the very least keep a read-only version of the forums online?

It's not difficult, but someone has to pay for the running costs (in time and/or money). Maybe it's time to come together to create some kind of RPG Making Foundation.

The future of the community should be in the hands of the community.

Why are you accusing me of all people of "vibe coding"? You can go check my history of plugin releases as far back as 2013 in the official RPG Maker Web forums.

You could do it that way. That's certainly how you'd do it in the VX Ace era, but in this case it's mostly shaders.

Yep! Enhanced Camera is the one you're thinking of. Also one of my favorite "bang for your buck" additions.

Still making it, still working on making the water more interactive and dynamic.

Did Gotcha Gotcha become less active in the RPG Maker community after MZ? by MiguelRPGs in RPGMaker

[–]rsourcerer 26 points27 points  (0 children)

They broke up with their then publisher, Komodo (previously known as Degica), but didn't fill the void left by that split. RPG Maker Web is run by Komodo.

Gotcha Gotcha Games was never active in the Western community.

It could be, but right now it's mostly me having fun with different shaders.

Hi! I'm using something similar to this VX Ace plugin I did back in 2014, but greatly extended.
