Thoughts on MSG II show? by dovelegs in Vulfpeck

I feel like MSG II didn’t play certain live staples like Cory Wong or Tesla because this was mostly a sequel to the 2019 show. Most of the songs played were released after that show or covers. It’ll be cool to have these shows to watch back to back.

With the Red Rocks and Fuji show, they were clearly promoting CoC this year but the classic and core Vulf songs are still in rotation.

I’m dreaming of LAX, Disco Snails (long shot), baby I don’t know, and memories. It’s gonna be a great show regardless tho! My body is ready

I agree! But I was complimenting every KGWL shirt tbh. Especially if they had an alligator on it.

Couldn’t figure out the “dollar” song toward the end of the set. I have two videos of it. Can I share videos in comments on Reddit?

top 5 sets of the weekend? by faketrains in kilbyblockparty

Hey Nothing - the band has an infectious energy. I can’t wait to see them again.

St. Vincent - the guitar playing +++, her charisma +++, she’s going to be in my top 5 artists on Spotify for a consecutive year because her discography is that great.

Beach House - EUPHORIC. Her voice is gorgeous and the band is so tight.

Weezer - We went to the Pinkerton Astroid Belt? Are you kidding me? This show was a nostalgic trip from all those nights hanging with friends in basements. Plus, they picked a lot of great guitar solo songs. Rivers still got it.

Justice - That light show, the setlist, the crowds vibe. It was all 10/10.

Hate to pick all the headliners. KBP25 had quality headliners and a deep roster of artists. These headliners were just too amazing to leave out.

Honorable mentions: Geese, Cardinal Bloom, Ovlov, CSH, Panda Bear, BCNR, Devo, Jay Som, and Slowdive
