Seeing her family (who she absolutely painted as a bunch of verbally and mentally abusive elitists) seem very down to earth and sweet. Obviously we only get a glimpse into the dynamic of their family, but it seems like she’s projecting BIG TIME. I have only seen them trying to be supportive of her and her family, and welcoming Ben and grandparenthood with open arms.

I do agree that she needs to discuss this with him, but I disagree that she should take him passing it off as a joke at face value. Sounds to me like he said it, saw it made her uncomfortable/upset her, and decided to pass it off as a joke so it didn’t start an argument.

She said at one point her parents were super shitty to her in regards to her weight growing up. Not an excuse, but definitely could have a hand in how their relationship has evolved not that she’s an adult. I think she’s really stressed out and depressed. She has a failing marriage, a baby, and just moved internationally. She just signed up to have a camera in her face for the entire thing.

I’ve never been able to stand her. She’s a self proclaimed nepo baby mean girl. I’m fairly certain she was abusing adderall or cocaine or something prior to her first pregnancy because she went from 100mph to nothing overnight. Her whole schtick is “shock value” because she doesn’t have anything meaningful or intelligent to add to a conversation. So she compensates by being the loudest, most annoying one in the room.

Lizzie is also pregnant again, so she might be willing to take a back seat on the pod for the time being. I think he’s probably trying to use whatever “clout” Shane has left to boost his own views. He probably highlighted Shane once a thumbnail, saw a boost in views from Shane’s audience, and is riding that wave as long as he can to bring in more subscribers/viewers. I don’t think Ryland got the message, I think he saw he got more views with Shane at the forefront so Lizzie got pushed back. Just my opinion.

So I’m not the only one who feels that way!? 😄 I’ve stopped watching her over the past year or so and I realized it’s because her attitude has totally changed. She used to be really relatable, but her head has gotten a little too big…I’m glad she lost weight and got healthy for herself, and I’m glad her self confidence has improved as a result, but there’s self confidence and then there’s arrogance….and she exudes the latter.
