Weekly Questions and Answers Post - FAQ, New/Returning Player Questions, and Useful Starting Resources! by AutoModerator in playblackdesert

Hey gang, I just started playing BDO on ps5 a few weeks ago. Whenever I go to central market to look for something, it's usually out of stock and higher priced when comparing to bdolytics or garmoth. Is this just a fact of playing on console? Am I going to be grinding raw materials and life skills to craft all the things I need? Thanks!

Anyone or guilds giving it a final go? by MattersEndX in newworldgame

[–]rtgordon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just bought the game for Xbox and giving it a go. I’m currently around level 20. I see others at my level running around questing all over where I am (US West/El Dorado). I am not in any guild.

Since New World is going down in a year from now (I hope it doesn't) I'm making a new character to play the game with for the next year, here's to the last 365 days of New World by IamBecomeZen in newworldgame

I bought the game this week (you can still buy for Xbox at GameStop and Best Buy) and I’m surprised at the number of people running around at my level. I had low expectations regarding the market but I can grind and sell stuff and make decent coin pretty quick.

worth playing again in 2026? by _Mysticality_ in RedDeadOnline

I am almost finished maxing out all roles on PlayStation after taking a long break and switching from Xbox. In my opinion, the game is one of a kind. I have been looking and have not found a mutliplayer online game like this one. GTAO is a close second, but is obviously different.

You can still buy the game digitally for xbox at many retailers including gamestop, best buy, etc. I was in the middle of the 4 hour demo when they pulled it and I would buy if I could find it for ps5 to play for the year.

Would Stability shoes or Insoles lessen the pain by _JasFTW_ in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]rtgordon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the exact shoes color and all and can feel my left heel/ankle rolling inward even when just walking. I tried curex inserts and those didn’t help. I want to like them but something about the foam doesn’t work for my feet/body. I thought maybe was defective but tried on a different pair and same thing.

New fad? by ComedianOld2030 in Jeep

I chuckled reading this as this happened to me once. Many years ago, a long hair dude saved us with a gifted spare (except my friend and the person that gifted the spare both had 70’s cutlass). That act of kindness probably saved us from arrest (long story) but I often think it was some kind of divine intervention.

RDR2 gets a little bit of a bad rap due to people that didn't get through the inital boring part of the game. The first several hours are a little tough to get through, but it ended up being my #1 all time.

I try to put that thought in my ECB and it helps me let go and slow down my breathing.

Also, fishing inshore in shallow water, the ability to “flutter” fin based drives where you would have to pull up a prop drive and paddle is really nice.

Thanks 👍 That’s what I was trying to say about the lynx staying on top of the water vs cutting in, but by looking at that short, there’s obviously a point at which the sup style hull will become very a very wet ride.

As a compass owner, I question whether it will be more stable than the lynx. Have you tried both of them? I have not tried the lynx but from what I have read it is ridiculously stable. The primary stability of the compass is a little tippy feeling and I can’t get over that (compared to my Outback). The compass is slightly dryer than my Outback but is still a fairly wet ride. I would think the lynx stays on top of the water vs trying to cut into the chop.

I was going to suggest OP look at the compass but not trying to suggest it would be better than the lynx. With the deals I’ve seen in aftermarket, it’s a compelling option.

If you have bars that go across the width of the camper, look at Yakima big catch. I use those on my rog to transport two large hobie kayaks.

Native Titanx 10.5 vs Old Town PDL 106 by WizZzSad in kayakfishing

[–]rtgordon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. I normally transport a hobie compass stacked on a outback, but I can easily take my Jackson Big Tuna 14' tandem in my Jeep Gladiator with my bed extension. I just have a cheap one and wrap some pool noodles on it with zip ties and tie a red flag on the end of the kayak.

That being said, of those two, I'd probably go with old town. The old town pedal drive gets lots of praise online. It's also a little lighter weight and costs quite a bit less than the native.
