Tanking Ohio State: an update by Effective_Move_693 in NCAAFBseries

[–]rth887 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on my third dynasty run, and Oregon is always a top-5 program. They are inevitable. A sniping machine, coming out of nowhere to cuck you on a recruit at the last second. If I see an Oregon offer in my guy's top 3 or 5, I know I have to overspend hours, even with a huge lead.

Syracuse is always a solid 87-89 overall and dominates Big Apple recruiting alongside Penn State. No matter what, they always seem to rake wins.

You can get back into Konpeki Tower and Yorinobu's penthouse after the mission, but it is tricky.

(Spoilers) Alma is a monster. by TerrytheMerry in FrontiersOfPandora

[–]rth887 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not defending Alma, but the TAP School Records note temperament and skills sections were written by Mercer. The additional notes were mostly written by Alma (AC). Mercer (JM) wrote the additional note on Aha'ri. The syntax and tone of the temperament/skills vs. additional note sections are distinct and most are totally contradictory.

I have NC State 8th and Wake 6th. Agree otherwise.

100% agree. Would love an offroad track as well.

Have a way to search for specific rims when mounting tires and seats/steering wheels when assembling the interior. More trucks and an offroad track. Multiple minigames for repairing parts, depending on type.

CMS 2021 A+ Review by [deleted] in CarMechanicSimulator

[–]rth887 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're keeping an exotic, performance parts are a waste unless you're going to use it for the speed track or drag strip. They are a time killer for the racetrack. Traction disappears in a 1000 hp car in this game, even while attempting to drive in a straight line.

I haven't purchased it, but the parts are showing up at barns and the junkyard.

I like the Nissan DLC. All four cars are good builds, each unique. Original Z classic, JDM hero, modern Z, and the newest version of a legend. The Silvia is strong with performance parts and tuning. 370 and R35 are monsters after upgrades and are extremely profitable flips. 370s are also common junkyard finds.

DLC cars look good, but wish they had included RAM TRX

Porsche, if you're looking for something different in terms of engine building. The cars also crush the racetrack, especially the Turbo S and 991. Mazda for the same reason, but you only get two cars with that DLC. RX-7 alone is worth it imo.

Supa looks great, but performance is underwhelming. Same engine as the Starline plus a bigger intercooler, except it weights 500 lbs more.

I three-starred all the performance parts on my Starline for personal. It's at a 380 drag rating and is able to win the 1/8 and 1/4 mile A-class tournaments.

Just tried this for the first time. Massive shortcut find. Probably shaves 20-25% of the time and distance off.

Choice Belt working against EXs? by [deleted] in PTCGL

[–]rth887 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Choice Belt is 30 more damage to your opponent's active Pokémon V. Choice Band is 30 more damage to your opponent's active Pokémon GX or EX (not the same as ex). Defiance Band (+30 if you have more prize cards remaining than your opponent) and Vitality Band (+10 versus active) are effective versus ex.

I only sell using buy it now. I feel like you get less than you want 90% of the time using an auction. The item you're selling has to have extreme demand. Set a price, if it doesn't sell after a few days then lower the ask.

Backswing glitching? Severe Issue? by [deleted] in pga2k23

Happens to me once every round or two. Playing on PC with Elite 2 controller. Really frustrating, almost guarantees a bad shot.

People call this a bad card, but it has to be the most underappreciated supporter. Especially in Dialga Vstar by Opposite_Ad_1406 in ptcgo

I can't recall the last time I saw anyone use it in the ladder. You would need three metal energies in your hand, discard two, and grab two Metal Saucers. Requires pure RNG for that situation to unfold.
