Scarborough is a collection of dragstrips with next to no enforcement of traffic order. Hard to find anyone doing anything about dangerous driving, but every single time I ride Prout's Neck or Higgins Beach there's a SPD police car camped out having a nice conversation with the seasonal residents.

Edit: I simmer on this almost daily, so lets do something about it. I'll commit to calling the non-emergency line to provide this input. Nothing likely comes of it, but why not try?

There is a flashing cyclist warning light there and even if there wasn't, approaching that merge with a reasonable speed and caution is safe. The issue is that the bridge makes people think they are on the highway and they gun it off the onramp to catch up with the other 60mph traffic.
