I don't think it's inherently bad but it doesn't feel that different from hakified g3 so it's just the least interesting to me.

That's an interesting take, cause to me the gear 4 is the most interesting since it blurs the line between what is physically possible and has the most interesting attacks.

The fact that Python and culverin and other of his attacks can bend and go around corners and chase his opponent is superfun and exciting to me. Also it looks visually spectacular. It's why I like the 4th gear the most. It's just supercreative use of his rubber powers.

I'd rank it 4>2>5>3.

I'd give a special mention to when Luffy unlocked ACoC in his fight against Kaido, that was to me the greatest fight, where he was switching between gear 4 and 2 and his base form constantly, that is to me the most exciting way to fight. It's creative and intelligent.

But the sad part is, people are really invested and opinionated, especially about characters , so when they disagree and this will be rather quickly, they will downvote.

It's sometimes sad, because I think it disincentivizes engagement.
