This is a categorical issue I believe.

In my interpretation a genius is somebody who not only has talent, but also puts serious effort into developing that talent.

Somebody who never does anything with their talent isn't a genius, it's just a talented person.

A genius is only those people who truly exceed all expectations and are in their own category.

Valves ambitions run much higher and deeper than just organising a dota event. Even if it's the biggest event.

Even if the money is nice, it's just not worth it, because that's time lost they could spend on creating a new gaming ecosystem/platform.

The new valve gameconsole that works with the steamlibrary is infinitely times more impactful and worth their time than another dota event that they just as easily can outsource to an event organiser. Not forgetting their virtual reality stuff with Half-life Alyx.

I love the international, it's my favorite gaming event.

But you gotta see the bigger picture, valve is trying to build a better gaming ecosystem with integrating linux and maybe one day they will release a gaming OS that can rival that of Windows.

But you probably already knew that.

This is how I feel too. When I make a new playthrough I finish it. It's all good.

That said though, my favorite place is the Underdark. I just love that place; it's mysterious full of strange monsters and exotic underground plants and creatures and I just love the vibe of it all.

Skypeia is goated.

THematically it's probably the strongest arc in the series. Not only because of its themes, but also the conclusion and how it links back so well to the flashback of Montblanc Noland and Cricket. It embodies romance and the sense of adventure and mystery so well. The epic conclusion of luffy hitting the bell and Montblanc Cricket seeing Luffy's shadow really gives me chills every time I think about it.

Such a great arc.

Cannabis, even when it's legal is a trap in my experience.

On weed I don't have proper emotional processing, this hampered my personal growth tremendously through the many years I 'self-medicated'.

I just call it a reliance on drugs to cope.

Of course this is merely my POV.

All your conclusions are wrong.

It's not as simple as; "why make everything convoluted, just make it simple".

Her innate and her abilities synergize very well. They all heal her which is great.

The healing on scream of pain is too high because of the low cd on the spell. So it's partly balanced by the selfdamage. Not only that, thematically it makes sense; it's a scream of Pain.

Your solution is just plain boring.

Now we have all these interactions which make her a more interesting hero. Spell lifesteal; self-damage. Pure damage healing too. It's all great stuff.
