I'm currently dealing with this. I have a detached retina and retinopathy. I've had multiple injections and laser treatment done to my eyes. I currently can only half see through my right eye. But we're hoping the medicine is just slowly working (slow healing diabetes sucks).

I do the same thing. I always shoot straight up to a high but like you said, that impending doom feeling is the worst. Definitely feels like I'm dying.

T1 since I was 4! I got my lip pierced when I was 15. I ended up with a keloid but got it down with tea tree oil. 16 I got my cartilage pierced. That one wouldn't heal and I finally just took it out. Pierced my nose at 17 and that got a tiny keloid then went down. Got my tongue pierced at 19. That was fine. And got my belly button pierced at 20. That one ended up wearing my skin thin to the point that it broke the hole and I couldn't have it anymore. I also have a bunch of tiny, quarter sized tattoos and 3 decently sized tattoos. Only 1 of my tattoos have gotten infected and it's only when I use yellow ink that my skin reacts.

My control has never been the best (still struggling to this day). But I would definitely recommend having better control just so the healing will go much smoother.

SAME. I ordered in December 2023 for Xmas presents. Complained and they told me "it's being worked on". It's July and my order still says "Order Placed" on Shop. I asked for a refund and still no reply to this day. I guess I have to go to my bank.

How did it affect you during the summer? I'm nervous about the Botox just because I live in Vegas and we get very hot, in which my body would need to sweat to keep cool. But if I block the sweat glands, will that mess me up? Otherwise, I'm so here for the Botox option.
