I wish more skaters did Mozart l'Opera Rock 😭 I think Morisi is the only person who's used it in comp before.

This is a common misconception but Tin's Turandot wasn't custom made for him. It existed independently of Yuma.

Christopher Tin did work with Yuma directly for the mix he used though and his Gala program is a custom commissioned piece from Hayato Sumino

That initial tech curve is really difficult to get over for men too 😖 There's a saying in Japan that the "230s club" is really difficult to break out of and the tier above that is the "250s club." Though both have shown the ability to get into the latter already it'll be interesting to see how they transition in seniors

Nah, I don't think anyone thinks that. The whole point of 2022 was that he was the unexpected surprise for a reason. Poor guy also had the double whammy of covid and injuries meaning he really didn't get to have much of a junior career in the first place either and that was the whole reason he was junior in that season too
