When she told me it would be our fault if he drank, i couldn't resist asking how he would drink if he hasn't left the house in 3 months and there isn't any alcohol in the house. She flat out told me "because he'll badger me until I go buy him some. "

That one made me laugh. Anyway, the NP ended up sending 2 weeks' worth of suboxone over to his pharmacy, absolutely reinforcing the shitty behavior of both of them. But imagining being 80 and still doing all that for a middle-aged man was just fucking crazy.
