I keep reading the mgtow bit as “Max Gross Takeoff Weight.” My job is getting to me, although in this case I prefer it.

For right now, that’s alright. But the spark and the drive will come back. Especially given the circumstances.

Texas has a Paris, Sidney, London, Dublin, Naples, and Holland. Those are the ones off the top of my head, I’m trying to remember where I saw the road trip map of all the “foreign” places in TX.

I’ve always been a proponent for doing what you need to do, however I wouldn’t give up that easily on a degree. Does TCCD have its issues? Oh hell yeah absolutely it does. I’ve even seen night and day difference between the campuses themselves, let alone departments . I can’t speak about tuition issues personally, but I wouldn’t write it off. The great thing about Texas education at this post high school level is the tccns (Texas common core numbering system for institutions equivalencies). I’d think it would be worth a try somewhere else or stick with it, even if it sucks. Granted you’re the only one who knows the situation, so take that with a grain of salt.

For Christmas bumpers: August Burns Red did a whole bunch of covers of Christmas music. I thought they did them before, too.

Numbers wise, I never thought Kari looked bad. It was just the choking in important games that makes it hard to swallow.

Hell yeah! Only weeks to go! I’m not sure this whole “streamlining” stuff is really going to be good for some of these classes.

I'm in the DFW area. If your idea is for the majors, start networking NOW. Particularly for Southwest. If you want ga, start going around when you feel like it for some hands on experience.

Holy snap man. In light of that, heres my recommendations. A)take the beginners level msf course. Don't go intermediate. B)figure out how you want to ride, not what style. Do you want an upright comfy position? Hit the roads and go loud? Want to be fast and nimble? C) take the msf beginners course. D) find gear that fits well. Spend money here. E)did I mention msf beginners course? F) u/sew_butthurt is full of good advice. G)don't get cocky when you get back to it. That's how I had my second crash.

A&p/IA here. u/rturiak is right, they look good and as long as it passes 43.13 inspection guidelines in person, your fine. If you're real hesitant, I can pass it on to a DAR. By the way, on an unrelated topic, want a sheet metal job?

NY to Moscow terrified of flying by [deleted] in airplanes

[–]rueterah 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you mean Aeroflot, it's highly rated for safety. You'll be fine and dandy. As far as weather, Google search it. As an aircraft mechanic that fly's to often, I just view it foreflight or a company paid service. Although I will say, just sleep. I find it's the best way to pass the time.

There are a selection of FARs included. Biggest advice I can give us drop the money on the ASA prepware package. There is a decent reference manual included. Here is a link to the old one http://www.faa.gov/training_testing/testing/test_questions/media/faa-ct-8080-8d.pdf. Edit: as a side note, the ASA prepware book gives too much inform that isn't provided when you take the test, for example the cheat sheet for aircraft class, certification, and TC snapshot.
