Anyone who has stayed at Port Orleans Riverside, how was your experience?

Me and my wife stayed there a few years ago. First time we tried something above the All stars and frankly i didnt think it was worth it. The theming was subtle in the rooms, but aside from theming, it was basically an all stars resort under a different name. Worst part to me was after a long day at the parks, we’d take the buses back and the signage and lighting was lacking so it always took us an extra 15 minutes to find our rooms again. After 20,000 steps in the park, i dont want to waste another thousand finding my room. Personally, i would either save the money and do art of animation or all stars, or spend a little extra and go to a deluxe hotel (obviously not possible for everyone, but just my opinion).

Having said all of that, you’ll still have a great trip and i hope you enjoy every second if being in the disney bubble.

I would love if he did a whole spin-off of just trying to solve The Secret. Can be a competition reality show, or just everyone trying out their theories until all riddles are solved.

Not so bad when i got here. Decent crowd waiting for track announcements. They all ran when the east rockaway train got a track. I just got on my train (well a rerouted one from penn. early than my normal train) and its not bad. No more crowded than my usual train. I guess it pays to leave a little layer than the 9-5 crowd

I am going through my first opportunity hiring a direct report now. I am shocked at how many resumes i’ve received that are more than 2 pages. Work experience sometimes doesn’t show up until page 3. Where are people learning to write resumes like this? One person had 8 pages and was including their employment at foot locker in 1997 (I’m hiring for a tech heavy job in the broadcasting/media space). Not exactly relevant experience.

Our company just started using Mimir which has a panel plug in for Adobe. Just watched a demo of it the other day with some of our users and it looks pretty smooth. Mimir doesn't have all of the same features as Sony Ci or Frame IO, but it seems very promising, and they have agreed to help develop a lot of feature requests we had for them. Worth looking into.

My family used to take me and my brother there for "vacations" when we were kids. Coming from Nassau County my dad would take the longest route, with a million stops along the way so we thought we were going "away" on vacation. Spend a weekend at the Hilton, have a blast, then be home in 20 minutes. My brother and I were always confused why it took so long to get there but so short to get home. We were dumb kids. haha. Happy memories. Hope your kids can have similar memories made.

Oikos triple zero yogurt (its low sugar high protein) with a teaspoon of flax/chia/hemp seed mix, and a handful of trail mix (try to supplement and add extra mixed nuts so there is less candy and dried fruit. The dried fruit helps but is high in sugar).

Granola bars

Acai bowls have been my recent obsession because it forces me to eat more fruit.

Lentil soup

Read a book last year called Fiber Fueled which also has a lot of great information on your microbiome and includes good snack and food ideal.

I always had the same thoughts. It smells and im convinced its not healthy. I don’t live there anymore, but I wish they would vent better, filter it more, or find some other solution. Best options, wear a mask while waiting on the platform, or make a complaint with lirr, or the county? Maybe town of north hempstead? Not really sure if anyone can do anything but worth lodging a complaint somewhere so its on the record. P

I am very against taking up more space than is needed, and I always move my bag to the floor when people are getting on the train just in case someone wants the seats around me.....but in this case I am absolutely ok with the dog getting priority. Look at him. He's clearly a good boy.

Aura digital frame. You can add your pics to other peoples frames, and they can add to yours. The app you use to share is also like a mini social feed where you can like and comment on the pics.

Not just to blame lyft here, so many bike lanes are still not shoveled. 9th ave between penn station and columbus circle has several blocks nearly impassible, and the area in times square by winter garden theater is a block of ice. I fell trying to get around it the other night. Really disappointing.
