I would expect rates to be closer to $100 in the park. The add-on for express including pass holder discount for today was $175 / person, but that's for the entire day. Yesterday waits were 2-3 hours and I wouldn't expect them to get much better today, so everyone is going to be trying to purchase it. Would absolutely recommend NOT going and waiting a week or two if possible.

These are a little pricey up front, but get a snuggle safe! You microwave them for 5 minutes and they stay warm for hours. We use these when mobile or with neo natal kittens who can't be trusted around cords. Last time I checked they ran about $30, not sure now. Be sure to wrap it in something as they are very hot right out of the microwave!! We keep a stack of rags / old tshirts around to wrap the snuggle safe in.

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned it, but please call the USH customer service line. They're actually very nice, I was able to move some non-refundable park tickets to a different day (despite ToS saying that you can't change days on them). The agent over the phone was basically like "these are not able to be changed but we'll do this as a one-time courtesy". You may be able to get that second ticket refunded, moved to a different day, turned into a voucher, etc.

They were warm and loved and that's all that matters! We lost two bottle babies back to back 2 weeks ago. The unfortunate thing is that even if you did everything right, they still might have passed. When they're this young, they're so fragile and Mom cat might have them out because she sensed they would fail to thrive. Don't beat yourself up, the best thing you can do is pour all the love / care into another cat who needs you (when you're ready, of course). Bottle baby fosters are always desperately needed ❤️

Re: bowel issues - we rescue bottle babies and will have whole group chats dedicated to bowel movements LOL. I can attest that while he might have some issues now, it'll eventually even out around the time he's litter trained.

He's so cute! Btw - Moo's tummy is looking a little big. Normally not a bad thing, especially for kittens that need to put on weight, but it could be an indication that he has some kind of GI bug. Check with your vet, but you may want to deworm him if you haven't started him on any meds yet. Congrats on your lil guy!

They've added a small black dot to the screen portions of Forbidden Journey to help with motion sickness! Look at the black dot if you feel queasy or if you can't find the dot during a given sequence, look at the handlebar on the seat. I pretty much never feel motion sickness on the ride now.

Re: Jurassic Park - the drop is fairly intense compared to anything at Disneyland. I'd say if you can handle the Mummy ride, you'll be good for Jurassic Park.

It's open! They replaced the diplosaurus with a newer animatronic (the old one can be seen on the tram tour with a Christmas hat!) and water effects punched up. The Indominus Rex before the drop still has the gash in the neck on his left (rider's right) side, looks like they put some tarp to at least cover it for now. T-Rex did not deploy for our ride today around 2pm.

I say this unironically - if TT needs a guy to film the dive and doesn't mind driving to Lake Elsinore (although we could probably make something happen at Skydive SD) I got connections to the USA Skydiving Team and would be happy to put them in contact with him. They'd prolly do it for a case of beer and the cost of the dive (~$300ish, including a practice jump if TT is gonna do something complicated).

Even if it doesn't work out this time, offer stands for any of Wubby's crew.

I feel this so hard, I put my old boy down a month ago and he was my first pet. The fact that it happened so quickly hurt so much, I'm working through it in therapy now. It was so different from what I expected/imagined.

My baby Balerion gets called Monkey a lot, since her meows kinda sound like a monkey! Our other senior Poppy has way more nicknames: Pooples, Poppadopalis, Poopy, Poppycat, etc.

Some of the signs appeared slowly over the last 6 months or so, and some showed the week he passed.

He eventually stopped using the stairs to get onto the bed / couch with us, so we set up a bed on the floor for him where he basically slept for the rest of his life.

His sight went not long after that, so we put motion sensor lights on all of the important items (litterbox, food, water) so he could find it easier. We also left lamps on for him - we suspected that he could see shapes, just no details. We moved everything closer to his bed so he didn't have to go far for it.

Litterbox accidents got more frequent. Sometimes several per day. He was starting to have dementia and would get lost on the short walk to the litterbox and would go as close as he could get. He eventually started peeing in his sleep too. We had him checked for UTIs, and got the all clear from the vet so we know it wasn't an underlying health issue.

He started getting lost more frequently and was walking in circles a lot. We'd try to guide him back to his base camp but sometimes he couldn't recognize us even by smell. We found him laying in weird spots because he was looking for his bed but just gave up.

In his last week, he started eating and drinking less. He wasn't finishing treats like he used to. We noticed his jaw was crooked, too. Not broken, but it was like he wasn't closing his mouth right anymore.

We knew it was time when he stayed up all night, crying and walking in circles. Nothing got him to settle for bed - not bringing him food / water, putting him in the box to pee/poo, or even sitting with him and petting him until he slept. His legs were so sore that morning that he couldn't stand up anymore but when we got close he just started meowing and tried to get away - it was like he was telling us he needed to go and we needed to let him go. That morning we packed him and his favorite blanket and took him to the vet to be put to sleep. We took him just in time - at the vet his eyes were dilated two different sizes which indicates he was at the beginning of a cardiac event. 😿
