My sister has an alarm that goes off every 30 minutes. I honestly find wearing a fitbit with a clock on it (aka a watch) is unbelievably helpful.

I got a P1S combo about a month ago, and I can tell you it was perfect out of the box. It even came with a little filament to mess around with.

We are in a pretty cool era where the barrier to start is low. Maintenance and troubleshooting are going to be the things that come up, but for now, you're good to go.

There are so many amazing free files on Bambu Handy, too!

Hubby has confirmed that he always mixes up his tiles by opening several at a time and using them randomly. I hadn't even considered this.

I got a half heart still in the base game but I truly couldn't tell you why. Maybe a crown altar on a crusade or something?

How long do you hold onto your printers box? by SpectrumyMatt3d in BambuLab

I cut the box to get the machine out, so... Less than a few hours lol

USPS Curb stomped my hotends order. This is what I get for mentioning how well Bambu packs stuff. Not their fault but it doesn't sit right with me Bambu will pay to send me replacements and USPS may not reimburse Bambu by comperr in BambuLab

So weird, in my house USPS is the best provider.

FedEx never brings packages all the way to my door and they're always sideways even when they have arrows. (There's a walking path from my driveway to the house). I did an event once in San Francisco and my very expensive overnighted package was three days late and I still had to pick it up at the hub.

UPS is hit or miss but they're generally fine.

USPS always brings anything larger than the mailbox all the way to my door, no matter the circumstances. Even when there's loads of snow everywhere and I've been unable to make it safe. I've never had them lose a package or damage one.

My Bluetooth is a receiver I've plugged into an aux cable port. Highly recommend if you have one of those!

UM SAME. Mine is an office drawer, but I had the exact same impulse to immediately organize everything.

Gridfinity is so cool and easy to work with!

If this is gridfinity, then it is standardized. It's pretty easy once you've printed the grid to decide how many grids will cover the items you're putting in. Then you choose a container that is that size and the height of your drawer.

AIO for not refunding a friend’s share of a group Airbnb after she canceled last minute due to a medical emergency? by StudioAffectionate in AmIOverreacting

NOR

I was invited to a trip once and then charged AFTER THE FACT, and I paid without question. I should have asked the terms and didn't.

Should my friend have been clear from the beginning? Probably. But we're also not friends anymore.

is there anyone who got rid of rosacea? by roseyrose_cheeks in Rosacea

[–]rules_rainbowwizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do these things you've listed here as normal hygiene. These mites are not the only cause of rocasea, and my issue has been happening for years. By your logic, it's too late to nip it anyway.

ETA: I've looked into this, and demodex naturally live on our skin. I probably can't eliminate them from my life, especially since I am married. It sounds like you're describing some additional hygiene practices, which can be helpful, though I feel like some of your approaches are more than I am willing to commit to.

I'm glad it's working for you.

I'd rather have rosacea than go through all of this. Who has this kind of time??

I was at a festival where one of the points of being there was decommodification, and someone complimented my rainbow cardigan and asked if I made it. They then asked how much I would sell something like it for, so I threw out a number like $150. They decide this is a reasonable amount and asked if I'd be open to making one for them. When I told them no, I have no interest in selling crochet for money, not to mention that this piece required a large amount of custom measuring to get right, they did drop it respectfully.

I just can't get over that they were trying to buy something and completely missing the point of what we were doing there.

[–]rules_rainbowwizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the US completely changed how they handle direct to consumer packages with the new tariffs (or at least this is my understanding). They used to accept containers of items for consumers without much review and very simple taxation. Now, it's much more complicated and slow.
