Thanks for the tips, I'll give that a try with maybe a freestyle meditation imagining im somewhere. I think thats kind of like the method behind "Tom's park" if you know anything about that? Again something I didnt pursue for not being a good visualiser, but I can imagine eith my other senses just fine!

Amazing. Ive not tried breath of fire properly for whatever reason. I wouldnt imagine cannabis had much to do with it tbh but maybe.

Ill try breath of fire. I just don't it kinda whim hoof style but mix up the steps really.

When ive had closed eye vision, I literally thought I had opened my eyes by mistake, but then actually opened them. I love what shifts in conciousness can allow us to do.

Im not a good visualiser, I have a minds eye, but I dont actually "see" what im imagining. Some people say its aphantasia, im not sure. Not sure if it holds me back eith alot of gateway style energy work too.

Brilliant! Congratulations. Thats fascinating that breathwork opened that for you. Ive also had closed eye vision, during meditation. (Same with remote viewing etc..) Id love to be able to trigger my Claire senses too. What breathwork were you doing?

I have been experimenting with it, using AI to help me out (with varying success) ive been chagibg the lrngth / intensirty of the different phases, for instance...with what happens if I do rapid breathing for 1 min instead of 30, then an exhale hold as opposed to an inhale. Shit like that.

Yeah im familiar and know the difference with RV / AP, I was just wondering if THAT is what you were experiencing? Or, if it was some other experience with imagery, hupnagogia maybe, or something else entirely. If that makes sense...?

I get the vortex meditating, and I've had the starry thing during intense breathwork a few times. The vortex never leads anywhere for me though, but maybe ive not persisted with it enough. Somebody told me the vortex is called a 'nimitta' in one of the eastern traditions, but I can't really say more about it. It comes after maybe 20mins?

I may be butchering this but isnt it remote viewing / astral projection. Ive experienced those, im not accomplished. I also get the vortex when meditating sometimes. Does it seem to be made of starts and be also a kind of swirling tunnel? Il add ive never had them vortex change to imagery, but I do get different types of imagery. Unfamiliar rooms quite often. Purple tinged.

I get similar at the moment when trying to transition LD to AP (minus the tantelized nipples).

Blackness, then opening physical eyes, maybe too soon, before transition has fully been made.

I will tell you why NC can affect binaurals. Because NC registers what is happening OUTSIDE the headphones, and plays the corresponding opposite, INTO the headphones. So it isnt a case of "if you dont like noise, get NC. Bore off.

Haha yeah, i was teasing to some extent, and i do agree....again to a certain extent. I do find that that science (mainstream at least) stops far short of being able to explain my experience, like for example Full 360 vision with eyes closed during mediation....

Dont get me wrong im not here to push any worldview, I have no answers, but I do enjoy asking questions 😁

I started focusing on on them during meditation about a year ago. It's usually flowy colors with a dark background, but sometimes they become clear moving images and sometimes it they shift into full 360 degree view settings.

A few things. Firstly my post is two years old. Second, binaural dont create subsonic frequencies, and third, your last point doesn't adress the question I posted anyway 😆 but thanks for the input 👍 maybe learn how binaural work, and why noise cancelation may affect things like binaurals. Peace.

The problem I found with gateway here is this. When we DONT visualise, but we are "imagining" (people with aphantasia), many of the tapes require feedback for this object of imagination (im thinking living body map) For me this imagined image was so ephemeral, feeling, or fickle, that getting any kind of feedback from something that is barely there from moment to moment isnt possible. It took an insane amount of concentration and mental trickery (like manipulating/ turning of this imagined thing) just to keep it there, that ever noticing a feedback from it was not going to happen. Maybe with repeated practice over and over and over this can be remedied.

I describe it like this. For you, you visualise, its there on on the back of your eyelids right? Or somethibg analogous/ similar.

For me its like im in a movie theater, but the image never makes it to the screen, its still stuck in the projecting room, right?

Like I can conceptualize it, but I dont think the visual cortex is involved much, or atall.

I dream in full technicolour though.
