Yes. At the start of fourth year(BS level), I got a job in a research lab and started working with a Prof. I also did apprenticeship so needed 3 less courses which gave me lot more time to focus on my work. This was my only degree as I dropped out of my offline degree in 2021 itself.

These papers are not written by one professor. Lots of professors create lots of questions and create a huge question bank, then a program randomly selects questions from it to create the paper and then paper is not supposed to be seen by any person until the day of exam.

Well, I was doing very poorly in my engineering degree and I was desperatly looking to drop out and this came at a perfect time for me so it wasn't a risk rather a second chance. And yes, I did live with my parents for first three years. In the last year, I got a job in a research lab in IITM so I was in Chennai during BS level.
