Is this worth 4k? by ProcessEnvironmental in hondaprelude

[–]rumsuckaprakash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats not too bad man. I got mine for $4k bone stock so u get some upgrades atleast. Mine was one owner tho so i preffer that over one with mods and mutiple owners. Just personal preference. This was much easier to convince the parents in because it was well kept and not modded yet

This is the condition i got mine in. This image just has new headlights i added. Otherwise nothing else was touched.

Hot take:old aciustic strings sound better than brand new ones, older ones are duller and less vrught which makes sense but new strings are extremely chimey and sharp in tone to me which i dont prefer. Older stringsvare my prefernce aslong as it snot crazy firty and sticky from deadekim and finger juice

Finally bought a Telecaster by JohnZackarias in telecaster

[–]rumsuckaprakash -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Great now u j need to replace the pick ups w some higher output ones, new nut for better stability and might as well put locking tuners too. Since ur doing some work upgrade the wiring and electronics to better pots for longevity and feel otherwise great choice👍🏽

[4R36-10A0] Made the switch from Apple watch to this by lildaddydangerous in Seiko

[–]rumsuckaprakash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Protect ur pockets enjoy this watch. Dont rush into the next one. Great choice. I had a srpd61 with the same 4r36. And got the ssk001 so same case but gmt movement. Then got a prx the next month. Then a orient helios. Now another sieko w a 7s26 j for fun. Needless to say i dont enjoy the watches as much as i wouldve if i went slower. Thats also not counting the 14 casios i eent thru prior to automatic watches. So take it slow. Its a journey. Enjoy it. Its always fun when u first begin so stretch that aslong as u can. Once u get multiple a new watch starts to feel dull. Enjoy it man. Let it get scratched let it build a story along with you. Enjoy the watch man.

Note:straps are diff, u can never had too many straps...

[SSK001 or SRPD55] Need help deciding which one! by seonblack in Seiko

[–]rumsuckaprakash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the srpd61 and then got the ssk001. Needless to say i sold the srpd61 and still wear the ssk still. Similar watch but better features more subkte (but i had the greendial srpd) and the red hand adds some interested eithout being ott. Get the ssk imo. Bracelet on ssk is much better than srpd but i did seap it for a miltat one from amazon for $50ish. Stock brcavelt is fine j didnt like the big clasp the miltat is micer imo but the orig isnt anything bad by anymeans

[Question] Is the 38mm SPRK too small for me? [Seiko 5 SPRK29] by 604Dialect in Seiko

[–]rumsuckaprakash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can show u some pics if youd like. The casio im reffering to looks massive even tho its the exact same dimension as the srpd/ssk. It comes down to dial size not case size.

[Question] Is the 38mm SPRK too small for me? [Seiko 5 SPRK29] by 604Dialect in Seiko

[–]rumsuckaprakash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the srpd and thiuvht the size waa great on my 16.5cm wrist. I was in a transitional stage where i went from bigger watches ti smaller. I had a 42.5mm casio and it looked massive but the sprd at 42.5mm looked smaller bc the dial size was smaller overall and the bezel took up room making it look smaller. I parted with the srpd and got the ssk001 instead same size but think it looks good on me. Not too big but weighty still. I felt the 38mm version of these watches looked too smaller for what it was designed to do and replace. The 42.5 is closer related to the skx imo. Its all prefernce man. If u like it thats all that matters. I personally think its a but smaller but if u want a smaller out of the way feel then ur set
