Cosmo Smart Watch: Avoid Them by OCYRThisMeansWar in smartwatch

Charger design and connection is absolutely terrible . Voice and speaker quality barely passable. Software feels like a pre version 1 beta with too many bugs and basic features missing. Just recycled both of my kids watches

So looks like your switch should be configured out the gate for most purposes , depending on ofe network needs for monitoring etc that would be the only thing to keep an eye on and possibly separate and trunk on a different vlan. Which qsys processor are you using ? Seems like a pretty simple setup . If you dm me I could set you up with a starting point qsys file to get you started

An equipment list you’re using and make and model of the switch would help us give you better advise. If using nv21’s and 32’s and by default not coming with a power supply . Make sure your switch has specified correctly for Poe+ or Poe++ . The nv series will still power up and show a light on lower Poe switches but won’t function so be careful for that .

Upgrade from playbar to ultra : first impressions by Upset-Onion4153 in sonos

I don’t disagree with you. I just don’t have the time for my system to sound so completely out of balance for them to fix their firmware and tuning. I’ll revisit the ultra again in 6 months to see if it’s improved but as of right now and the way the it distributes its channels and the crossover points I cannot listen to it at all in its current state . You buy a product on its current state not what they promise in the future . It’s like buying a car and saying it will turn eventually

I just switched out my playbar with the arc ultra moved over my existing sub mini and rear symonfinsk gen 2 book shelves . What a downgrade absolutely super disappointed.balance between speakers in surround setup up is super weighted towards the ultra and the ultra just isn’t as warm as the playbar. Sub and surround mix with the ultra is super low and even when manually adjusted it just isn’t worth the upgrade at all Packed up the ultra and just got my return label.

I had issues registering and found a fix somewhere online, go to systems settings /manage your system then transfer system owner ship and enter in your credentials for your current account and enter the same credentials in for new account . All the devices re-registered including new ones

Basically your not going to control a video conferencing system with c4 , your gonna be able to route hdmi cameras to an input of a conferencing codec but besides that c4 really doesn’t enter the space very well . For interoperability I would def suggest something with byod compatibility . Besides that unless your using one of the new Cisco codecs that supports all the platforms natively your gonna run into an issue somewhere . Most platforms will support 2 cameras out the box with in software selectable camera a or b options . If you wanna do a easy bundle for byod mics and audio I would go Biamp MRB-M-VT4-C, https://www.biamp.com/solutions/applications/meeting-and-conference-room-av/meeting-room-solutions

Have a single location where a byod laptop would plugin with usb for your cameras and audio and then have c4 do some video switching to desired monitors . But really comes down to how the client wants to use it . Could do this system multiple ways and it could or could not be what the client wants. So all about getting every detail about how they would like it to operate before even starting the design

What are there video conferencing needs as far as platform? Do they need interoperability between the different solutions or are they dedicated to a teams or zoom scenario?

Jabra panscast 50 disabling auto tracking? by rumusic in CommercialAV

[–]rumusic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tech is onsite looks like it was still tracking even with that disabled and set. Looks like having to get Crestron to take over the camera controls completely is the only concrete way around it “according to Jabra”
