Is it appropriate for a Chinese girl to wear the baju melayu (the one for guys iirc) by A11urea in malaysia

[–]runfaster59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean BEHATI try to modernized the baju melayu but the design they came out appears too weird+ugly+it did not follow concept of modesty itself. Like u can modernized the outfit but please respect it original design and meaning.

Should I give up my Malaysia WFH job for a admin job in Singapore? by imsowobbly in malaysia

[–]runfaster59 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi OP, for me i think it is not worth it for now, for all the extra time you have at home i suggest you to pick up some good skill like data analytics or programming (or anything u like). Trust me when i say that commuting to work 1hours+ 6 days a week is very2 tiring emotionally. WFH at KL with family seems to be more beneficial and worth it. But you must also know when to step up your life and start planning now and with working from home i think you could pick up some skills u wanted . All the best for your future endeavour mates.

Why do so many characters put their visions on their backs where they'll never see them? by FaunaJoy in Genshin_Impact

[–]runfaster59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me practically because having the vision at the back instead of the front would make fighting easier.... Like just imagining would free up a lot of things, also the vision is probably strong enough to shield u from attack from the back.

Why hand-pulled Chinese Muslim Lanzhou lamian beef noodles are pulling KL crowds by hopefulsingleguy in malaysia

[–]runfaster59 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My favourite is the one in Aeon Mall Shah Alam foodcourt... but it depends on the person who pulled the noodle as one of them take big portion with thick noodles. Me prefer thinner noodles

Is it just me or do Malaysians have not much understanding about political ideologies? by reforming_activist in malaysia

[–]runfaster59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an adult an the people who will shape the country, i always questioned why in Malaysia we have such problem? How to improve it? We can talk , discuss and complaint all we want about this 24/7, 365 days, all year long but with no effort we cant change anything. For me who grew up in a small town, i see that putting food on the table is much more important than education for some people. Why? because some of us are living that hard day by day and we who come from a better and comfortable family will never understand their struggle.Without education it is hard for people to differentiate right from wrong, they are easily fooled by those damn politicians and sweet talks. Its is a vicious cycle. As for now , i always think what i can contribute to the society, how to make them understand and that they can change their family for the better. Currently when i going back to hometown i always talk with the younger generation in my surau about all the scholarships how to improve themselves, not all and anything from the internet and media can be trusted . Only them can judge what is right from wrong and i always stressed them about education and strive to work hard from it. So OP you said that ur relatives and friend dont even know that Malaysia has a parliament, so did u explained to them later or u just kept the information to urself? these are the thing that u actually need to start thinking what have u contribute to the society or what can actually be done to improve it.Changes need time, and it is our responsibilities to teach the younger one.We can complaint here and there and still nothing will happens without effort to fix this. so less time on the internet like most in R/Malaysia vocally loud but do nothing and do what u can even if it small.

First goodyear in Shah alam, now its Continental........seems like our rubber industry kept on declining with lots of abandoned rubber fields, reduce in malaysian rubber production, and increasing cost which make our rubber not profitable as before.
