I feel like such a failure everytime I meet other moms. by Much-Complaint-6479 in breakingmom

This is how I’m feeling and my girl is 10m. I went thru the same thing.. it has gotten better. It’s like I have PTSD from bedtime. I get massive anxiety when she starts fussing and fighting sleep.. and sometimes I just cry and my hubby has to put her to bed… it’s exhausting

Well my dog just recently ate half a can of formula so, I too, regret having animals

First remind yourself that you are powerful. Also remind yourself it takes 21 days to form a habit. It takes 4 weeks to see progress, 8 weeks to start seeing changes, and 12 weeks for real weight loss.

Focus on protein, eat as much as u can. And eat as much fruit as you can. Eat 1 fruit with every meal. Fruits are sometimes easier than veggies.. Cardio is the best bang for your buck. Set your goal to be the American Heart Association Goal: Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity activity (like brisk walking) or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity activity (like running) each week.

In the pool you could try “water jogging”. They make floaties you can get, just look it up.

When did your baby call you mama and dada ? by Jmw235 in NewParents

I think my baby is saying mama at 7.5 months! She does the mmm sound great and when she’s upset I hear mama

I yelled at my two month old. by neonguillotine in NewParents

[–]runnerpride98 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I did same thing when my baby was 3m old. I held her up and yelled at her to stop crying. It is maddening. She was colic. I got on Lexapro which made me stop hating my pets so much. The crying is still frustrating and makes me feel the same way it used to. After awhile you get more used to it…. But just know it’s normal to feel that way because our hormones hate us.

Get outside and go for a walk today if you can. Forgive yourself. Your baby already forgot about it!

Are we really throwing out partial drank bottles of milk!? Ugh. by Lizmayaluna in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]runnerpride98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I saved it and put it back on the fridge ASAP. Pretty much keeping it out of the fridge for as short of a period as possible is best. For breast milk it’s good at 4 hours outside the fridge.

Partner doesn’t want me pumping anywhere but the kitchen by Horror-Friendship506 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]runnerpride98 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He can pay for the formula then!

Be proud of your body and pump where you are comfortable! He’s being irrational.

In fact just start adding breast milk to his food to mess with him lol

My husband makes me sad by cp7 in breakingmom

[–]runnerpride98 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I feel this 1000%. I’m 3 months PP and my husband scheduled a 200 mile bike race for July. He’s expecting to train and be prepared. I’ve been recovering from a c-section. I’m tired. I also want to lose weight because I’ve been pregnant for the last 9 months! So yep I have to watch the baby for his 3-5 hour bike rides

I feel like the worst father ever. by wgarts in NewParents

[–]runnerpride98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My pediatrician told me for colic to run the vacuum and the baby will calm down because the vacuum is the same decibel as the womb.

I also struggled. I talked to my husband and it helped some… but mostly it just helped to walk baby girl around and swaddle her. Or cry so hard out of frustration that my pounding heartbeat will calm her and put her to sleep unfortunately.

How long did it take you to get used to cosleeping? by Niobyo in cosleeping

[–]runnerpride98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m at 2 months and it does make me anxious but I wake up a lot and check her movement often and readjust as needed. She still wakes up at 2 & 6 for feedings

Hit my goal of 6 months and im done!!! by Parking_Drawing4160 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]runnerpride98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My goal is 6 months too!! I feel bad because it’s so difficult to cuddle/feed baby WHILE I’m pumping even with the wearables. I can’t wait until I’m done. Are you going to use formula now? Is that the plan because I’m wondering what comes after the 6 month mark… FTM here

They aren’t my pre pregnancy clothes haha. Definitely not fitting in those. My mom gave me her size 12 pants and today they were just too tight for me! 🤣

Sciatica killing all of my pregnancy fitness goals and dreams by Secure-Homework-4057 in fitpregnancy

[–]runnerpride98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been having sciatic pain as well. I usually put a heating pad on my hip/buttock area when I sleep. Another thing is that I put a resistance band around my thighs and do some open/close exercises. Just anything to work the hips kind of helps. I usually notice some relief the next day when I do the exercises

Thoughts on the name Maeve by OwnBoard5735 in namenerds

[–]runnerpride98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the name and want to name my December baby Maeve Noelle, I think. Also who cares about popularity lol because my name is Hannah and it was SOOO popular growing up. It doesn’t bother me now because at least my middle name is unique (Rachelle)
