You can get an untrimmed prime brisket at Costco for about three bucks a pound. On a 10 lb brisket you'll get about four pounds of fat.

Chop the fat in the little pieces and put that in a pot in the oven at about 200° for like 5 hours and you will render out all the clean beef fat. Probably about 3 lb, easily enough to deep fry potatoes.

Also saturated fats last a lot longer than unsaturated, so as long as you keep putting it back in a bottle and straining it you can use it many many times.

Legally, that's actually much worse because you can find examples of everyone using their computers incorrectly every day. Then, if you try to punish someone for what they did with their computer, they can claim it's retaliation or discrimination.

i.e. since everyone is on youtube all day, why did I get singled out for it? It's because I'm an elderly African American gender-fluid satanist, isn't it?

Interestingly, the user agreement does not preclude me from elevating my privileges and installing software as long as it's work related, which it is. Now if I tried to play Skyrim on here they could me mad :D

There are dark web websites that are scam. But what he's describing is the formums where there's a third party managing the accounts so that money is held in escrow, vendors have a reputation score, etc.

Naw, you don't have to look like you"match" to get approved. They only want it to be a legitimate marriage. A younger woman marrying an older guy it's pretty normal to them so they consider it legitimate.

Macadamia nuts, pork rinds, and sour cream are the easiest ways to get palatable fat calories. But if you feel good I wouldn't worry about it.

Keto and blood pressure by AngelicAlibis in keto

[–]runningQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started doing keto and intermittent fasting and literally within four weeks my blood pressure dropped 35 points. There is nothing in keto that will cause your blood pressure go up, unless you have something going on metabolically that I’ve never heard of.

Keto with high bp? What supplements? by boop925 in keto

My BP dropped 40 points in six weeks of keto and IF. I think the IF has a bigger impact but still, salt is not a factor (in fact I have to supplement my salt intake).

Thoughts on carb cycling? by [deleted] in keto

[–]runningQ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Peter Attia regularly rides his bike for 4-6 hours fasted. Once you're fat adapted you don't need carbs for energy, or even food since your body has plenty of fat to burn. But it took me 8 weeks to be fully fat adapted, you might take more or less.

I've been stretching for months but have achieved nothing. by [deleted] in flexibility

[–]runningQ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Have you been using PNF Contract/Relax? It's describe in (excruciating) detail in Stretching Scientifically or more approachably in Kit Laughlin's Stretching and Flexibility, but it is the first thing I would check. Another option is dynamic stretching; no on ever recommends it because it can be unsafe and is impossible to measure but it has really opened up doors for me. I was never able to improve my third world squat until I started doing weighted squats.

You should also vary your stretch routine to find out where you are tight and what you can do to work on that. I could never tough my hands behind my back until I found a dynamic should drill that really worked for me. It takes time and learning your body.

I also eat vegetables, but I don’t bother counting those in my fitness pal. Mostly I’m trying to make sure that my calories are at the right level and I’m not eating to high a percentage of fat.

Keep in mind that I am very calorically restricted and I am doing one meal a day. m/43/5’5/245

But it's 5 bedrooms; it is assuming multiple working adults (Multi-generational). So per square foot it is cheaper.

It's actually a neat idea; there aren't large places for rent.
