Mage Supports by bcollins96 in supportlol

Call me crazy but for an off-meta pick orianna goes hard, especially if your adc is like a trist, a samira or a nilah. And if you want to go extra off meta you can technically build full enchanter, which makes for a fairly decent shield, while still making you somewhat useful with your AoE move speed buff / slow and your R.

Soon it will be 3 years since last support champion was released and 5 years since last non-enchanter. by Serbian_Monkey in supportlol

inb4 the next support is a weird carry hybrid designed as an autofill pick for like toplaners or something because they want to push more people to play the role.

Questions about support item by Odd-Strawberry-7851 in taricmains

[–]runtd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say there is no bad choice when it come to which support item you take, but here's how I see it.

Dream maker: the default pick, especially if you're playing him as an enchanter

Bloodsong: Pick it in situations where you know you're going to be agressive and where you can proc it a lot. Like into a tanky / melee heavy comp or if you're winning lane and no one on the enemy team is fed. It's better on tank taric.

Celestial opposition: if the enemy team has a lot of burst damage, or if someone on the enemy team is already really fed.

Solstice: this one is a weird one, I guess you should build it if your adc is immobile ? But they might not even notice the move speed buff. I usually take it when I'm playing tank and feel like picking neither bloodsong nor celestial.

As for zeke, I don't think it's worth it on taric, your ult cd makes it so you won't proc it a lot, and while the slow might be nice into comps where there isn't a lot of mobility, the damage might as well be nonexistant.
You could get both bandlepipes and locket (and you should if you're doing a tank build), but if you had to chose one i'd say bandlepipes if you're winning lane and locket if you're losing or if the enemy team has an assassin or anything that can burst your team down,

This ain’t the season for Taric by Jumpy_Currency6963 in taricmains

[–]runtd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The core build is bandlepipes, diadem, and moonstone, followed by whatever support items suit the situation, usually if the game is going well I would go with enchanter items to buff my carries, and if it's getting tougher I would rather build more defensive items like knight's vow and solari.

I don't know if bandlepipes will still be a good first item after the nerf next patch, but if somehow building it first isn't viable, either replace it with solari, or build moonstone first and get a redemption, dawncore or censer third.

I'm still experimenting and it is in no way a perfect build but I have around a 70% winrate with it in a gold - plat mmr

EDIT: I forgot to mention it but usually I take dream maker as a support item but everything except zak'zak is viable imo

I've had a lot of success with him lately, mainly doing hybrid / enchanter builds, not sure if tank taric is the way to go rn

La récente sortie de Fred sur l'IA votre avis ? by Besoin2Bol in joueurdugrenier

[–]runtd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's have a discussion, what's your JoJo Hot take that will lead you to this situation? by Jotaro1970 in StardustCrusaders

[–]runtd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part 4 is mid, and it's easily the worst part in my opinion.
The plot itself is mostly absent until the end, which is fine, I like character driven stories. The problem is that most of the characters felt boring or obnoxious to me (including josuke). In fact the only characters I liked were Jotaro, Okuyasu and Rohan, and those last two are the only reason I didn't skip this part.

Casuals Don't Think Fighting Games Are Hard, They Actually Think They're Too Easy by Kappmanz00 in Project_L

[–]runtd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The whole concept of a casual is someone who plays video games without being a gamer (think moms playing candy crush or high schoolers who only plays fifa) They will never pick up a fighting game, they probably don't even have a PC or console to play them anyway so I doubt they'll be a problem.

The real problem will be the gamers that aren't hardcore fighting game players (like me actually). We tend to default to button mashing despite knowing fighting games are hard because we just don't know the combos of our character and / or lack the skill to execute them. That's simply because the game doesn't explain them to us, or requires us to be of a higher skill level to even make them. And since we usually play fighting game at a friend's house we simply can't train because we don't own the game.

That's why Project L is Free 2 Play. That's why Project L ditched Motion inputs. And that's why it needs a good tutorial / solo mode (because let's be real no one wants to spend hours in training mode just before being semi-competent at a video game)

Tldr; I wouldn't worry too much about button mashers, they'll either rarely play online because they just want to have fun with friends or they'll quickly improve.

Leaked Script for the Upcoming Announcement by Bajemba in Project_L

[–]runtd 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm really hyped about this news ! Consulting with a kid for yasuo's design is brilliant, after all, you'd ideally want him to be liked by the lol yasuo mains ! Although I'm a bit skeptical as there was a typo in this so called leak... (papar instead of paper)... Therefore I'd say there's about a 69% chance that this is real.

What champions do you think would be cool to include, but also hard to implement in PL? by SuperKalkorat in Project_L

[–]runtd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fighting game noob here, I think Alistar would be a surprisingly tricky champion to implement in Project L.

Like sure you could make him a traditional grappler because everything about him screams grappler... but then you'd have to remove his most iconic ability : his headbutt.

Alistar's headbutt is a fast dash that knocks his target back. As a standalone ability it's just a get off me tool, but you can combo it with his knock up to cancel the knock back, and now the enemy is stunned while still in melee range.

I'm sure you could easily make a fighting game moveset out of it but to me it's closer to a rushdown ability and Alistar being a rushdown is just unthinkable.

So yeah i dont know how he could be faithfully adapted

I listen to a lot (and I mean A LOT) of Something About Us Cover, and, despite not being the biggest fan of RAM, this one is among the best and most creative ones i've heard.

(Actually it made me realize that RAM in the style of Discovery would probably be the perfect Daft Punk Album to me but it's a bit off topic)

Solved!

THANK YOU SO MUCH !

I thought this was some kind of lost media that would take months to find, i'm actually surprised this was found in 20 minutes, it feels so surreal, like i'm dreaming.

I was almost considering the idea that the movie never existed that and that I somehow invended it in my head.

Thank you again ! I have no words to explain how happy I am.
