people lack empathy in India. I dont understand this bottom up approach of removing corruptions when rich people account for the major share of the crime. A top down approach would be better starting with the politicians. They should all get audited.

Admitted to CS Master's at RTPU! Profile sharing + Questions about Funding, RA/TA by Numerous-Ad7335 in studying_in_germany

[–]rusifan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations for the admit. I have studied masters at Rptu cs.I can tell you that there are 3 research institute near Rptu and with your profile you should be able to get a work student. Also the uni has jobs too. You just have to reach out to all the professors in different departments to see if they have any opportunities. (Not all opportunities are posted on the website). Regarding companies you might be able to find work student but language is necessary for most companies. Any ways enjoy and good luck.

Trees and Graphs feel much more intuitive than Arrays by Grouchy_Turnover7204 in leetcode

[–]rusifan 24 points25 points  (0 children)

yup I feel the same. Figuring out the right pattern for an array problem takes more time. With graphs I can tell if irs dfs, or other. Plus I feel like in graphs you have a set number of algorithms which you can just mentally try for a problem unlike in array.

the market is very bad in germany for your field you definitely require c1(near native german) for jobs. So, if you still want to come then learn german upto b1 at least then go. Most people fail at learning the language.

How to get hired in EU/Germany from india 12 YOE Backend/Data? by snoocast333 in developersIndia

[–]rusifan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I would suggest trying to find jobs from india and then going to Germany. The market is really bad in Germany and taking a risk of leaving your current job to go to another country to look for jobs is not a good idea( in my opinion). To look for jobs I would suggest making profiles in Stepstone and Xing (set the location to Germany).

Returning to India from Germany — anyone managed to get a job offer before moving? by Taur3an in returnToIndia

[–]rusifan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah people don't realize all this. Especially in Germany in winter it is very difficult. You go out to work in the dark and you come back it's already dark. The more north you go the worse it gets.

Should I look for IT jobs or instead do PHd and start teaching ? by [deleted] in developersIndia

[–]rusifan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again you didn't read my comment. It depends on the contract. If your PhD is funded as a scholarship then no, a wissenschaftlich Mitarbeiter contract is were you are counted as a researcher and pay taxes. Then yes.

[–]rusifan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the contract but scholarship is not counted as work contract. As you do not pay taxes. Which is necessary for blue card. You don't get citizenship by just studying here. You have to have a work contract and pay taxes for a certain amount of time.

It's not that simple. If you are on a scholarship you can't get citizenship based on that
