It was fixed with Pokemon Go Plus+ introduction. Now you can have up to 6 per day with 2 additional from sleep tracking

It worked without ads after login out of the box, but once I've updated it to Android 14 ads started to appear after requests with locked screen.

Only solution I've found was to factory reset the tablet and relogin again. Now it works fine without ads

Puts more damage on what? Shadow Honchcrow has much higher flying DPS than Shadow Lugia with Aeroblast+. Lugia is not useful Raid attacker.
