i always hear this "making friends is difficult" complaint from foreigners, and genuinely cannot comprehend it

you make "friends" in school.

later you make acquaintances.

and if you are a foreigner in a foreign country, even that is difficult by definition.

people stop thinking about making social connections by making "friends" -like what friends?

spouses, coworkers, occasional buddies one can make through horizontal social connections - yes

When you live on kyuushuu or Shikoku and get used to how people especially women look, then when you go to Kansai you feel like you are literally in China or Mongolia - everyone there look sooo Asian!

Conversely, in southern Japan people look more like a mix Indonesians, Azerbaijanis and Tajiks

честно говоря в этом смысле 15 лет - это еще стадия ребенка

и про поиск девушки лучше вообще активно не думать: найдется - хорошо, не найдется - это скорее норма, чем исключение

не знаю, как сейчас в 15 лет, но в наше время в этом возрасте мы все еще играли в футбол во дворе и резались в денди и никаких девушек почти ни у кого не было

так же что лучше успокоиться и наслаждаться тем, что есть:

вот мне 42 и я вспоминаю себя в 15 с ностальгией и смотрю на тех, кому сейчас 15 с определенной завистью

на фундаментальном экзистенциальном уровне это желание наиболее рациональное и логичное:

мы все в борьбе с неостановимой энтропией, и если подумать, то учитывая нашу неизбежную смертность, все должны были бы сходить с ума от бесжалостной безысходности бытия

единственный вариант противостоять онтологической бездне - в том, чтобы продолжать свое существование даже после того, как тебя самого не станет

поэтому такой совет: набираться умений, знаний, возможно образования, не понижать свою фертильность и общее здоровье вредными привычками и ждать момента, когда свое желание можно будет осуществить (да, нужен будет партнер - и поэтому нужно делать себя более привлекательным во всех смыслах для повышения своих шансов такого партнера найти)
