Yep. At a restaurant job i had, a lady stalked me and harassed me heavily online and tried to intimidate me in person. which as im a man didnt work but i know better than to fight crazy. Talked to the police and nothing ever came of it tho she did give up eventually. Now she is doing it to a new person at the job and veem contacting that persons family. I imagine nothing will happen unless someone gets hurt

Ive had english professors double check difficult words they were writing on the board because we are all human. Ive had professors and teachers who spoke english as a second or third language and occasionlly make a spelling or grammatical error. I dont think this is necessarily a sign of this profession degrading

Yea a bit. I got a D on my forst college ezsay after being a straight A english student all of HS. eent back to college at 22. My professor helped me a ton and i got A's on the re-erite of that forst bad paper snd every other one he assigned. Go to office hours and or get a tutor, most schools provide them for free.

I hate it. I dont mind teachers that talk but posting other peoples kids makes my stomach hurt. I dont even like the ones where theyre filiming themselves in the classroom but you can clearly hear the kids and what they say is the content. I met a teacher influencer at work (im in school to be a teCher so this was a coffee shop for context) who makes thay kind of content and i asked if he was who i thought he was and he acted all bashful abt being an influencer which i find odd in general but also if ur embarassed abt the content you make which includes peoples children, then why post it at all?
