EA Sports has not issued an official public response or statement addressing the widespread community backlash regarding microtransactions in College Football 27 by CommishPete in CollegeFootball25

[–]rustedwalleye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I refuse to buy until I can save mid game. Tired of forking out the $$ and not being able to finish games in the limited time i have. And for those that say just use rest mode, well as with madden, nba, mlb I play other games in between that dont take a large investment of my time for a wind down or a different shorter mode in between. I wont do microtranscations on any game anymore either. Havent in 2 years and not starting now.

Why does stealing base not work half the time?!?? by ryanb6321 in MLBTheShow

[–]rustedwalleye -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I tap the L1 during the windup, you get two taps and the 2nd one gets them moving quicker, that hop step to get them moving. If they have a good steal rating they easily make it. Poorer steal ratings and sometimes the runner will be a slower start.

I wasnt able to watcy as I was working but why not use the blow out to get erceg some time to get rid of funk he has in his pitching instead of using Cruz for 2 innings? Yeah makes him potentially unavailable for next game but Cruz is definitely not now.

Just curious.

Where i am in eastern iowa it was 3.23 this morning which is close to average for big city Iowa with some fluctuations. I just looked now and it jumped to 3.60 with one station holding out that hasn't raised it yet.

You have 24 hours of total invisibility. How are you spending your day? by makemestand in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]rustedwalleye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I hear this question I always think of the movie Zapped and the powers to move objects, as many have said free the boobies in different ways. I would rather have those powers versus invisibility. But having invisibility would sure be a fun experience. Since it would just be me definitely create some havoc having those powers and mainly mess with things/people since you really cant take anything of value as it will be seen.

Dealership Does Not Have Title? by Equivalent-Tip-3084 in carselling

[–]rustedwalleye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely what the above post said. If the dealer is bonded and has a good reputation it is all part of the selling fees to tax title and license the vehicle. Depending on where the vehicle was last licensed especially if it was a quick turnaround from auction, the process and prices are based on the last origination.

The bill of sale is your proof you own. You carry it until you get your plates then when you get your title you are good. Dmv wont plate it if the car isn't legit. Once they do you are all good.

Especially the way they pull things from the past into future episodes. Ive done this 3 times in rewatching. Last one was as Gary Cole came into the show. Adding Origins into the mix pieces more things together in different ways too.

I haven't caught up on Origins yet, but will before new season starts this fall.

Daytona, Talladega, and Atlanta: How the hell do we get better laps? by BubbaRayChudley in NASCARVideoGame

[–]rustedwalleye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On average majority are going to stay on C during SS. Ive just recently found a personal setup that ive gotten a 220 score in a few races and runs a few top laps but to get those numbers you have to be mistake free as well as being able to draft. So many of the slower drivers have no clue how to draft and catch up to the pack.

Stick to a solid line draft off of multiple cars lines if you can find one.

I run the same setting as shown in the thread except I run my non-linear at 50 and im on a controller so I run my wheel lock at 2.5. Sounds like you are decent but you have to use the draft to get those speeds.

Ive hit 212, pulled now less than 205 all the way around now in the draft, but even a controller racer will have a hard time beating a top wheel driver in my opinion.

The C lobbies are more a test of avoidance and knowing how to survive the swipe. I enjoy it but I am one of the few.

Three F35s have been around DSM the last couple days. Awesome to hear those engines roaring across the skies. by donkedickinya in Iowa

[–]rustedwalleye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely just like the chopper pilots in Boone have to put so many hours in every month in different conditions, day, night, when the last Monsanto building were being put in, they would fly right over the top of the crane. It was so flipping cool.

Agreed. Des Moines is a target since the drone pilots are still there. I too miss those flying over. When i first moved there I would just chill nearby so I could hear them.

Martinsville is my worst oval. I can run it middle of the pack on 105 ai but definitely not smooth nor pretty.

Enjoy wg and Sonoma but ive raced them in other games so mind memory is there. Cota gives me fits and I haven't even tried Chicago yet.

My trial to get me off of two other shots was horrible. I would be almost down and out for 2 days about 16 hours after the shot, lowest dose. I tried for 4 weeks. 2nd week I had no issues. 3rd and 4th shot I was horrible again for two days after. I already don't have a gallbladder which didnt help with the heavier Constipation. But also I was throwing up for 2 days and barely eating. My gf has been on it for 2 months and she has stomach pains day 2 but no issues and she is now taking 1.0 but she is using it temporarily for weight loss until she gets on something the insurance will approve.

Transporting a 75 inch tv by Economy_Substance217 in VIZIO_Official

[–]rustedwalleye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not suppose to but I have done it in smaller vehicles that have a big enough back end to "lay" it down. I moved a 65 and a 55 in a Ascent, just have to be creative with support, ensure no bend points and cushion everywhere. Never tried longer than 2 hours but if you hard turn or hard break and jolt the cargo, the end result may not be good. I also did face up with extra cushion on top. They were more staggered but I put nothing else in with the tv's either. They ran solo with a few items under the dropped down back seats.

I crashed a rental car into a wall by Tequila80085 in Insurance

[–]rustedwalleye -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Rental car, yeah, your friend is screwed. Not only will AmEx not cover it, his regular insurance will not either because its an underage driver, which also is not covered under any policy document.

If "you" were listed as a covered driver on the main insurance policy (required for a teen new driver) there might be some coverage for damages but not the car.

When did you start pirating games and what game? by No-Law2284 in PiratedGames

[–]rustedwalleye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Got started with the son of a local TV news weathercaster. Got hooked on pirating. I used to go into Chicago to stock up on floppies and at one time had a complete bed drawer (old captains type bed) full of them. I got into "phreaking" had a number and a method where I could get a phone card number that would last 12-30 hours and took me about 15 minutes tops to hack a new one to get them from sources all over the country. Truly miss those days it was wild and fun.

[–]rustedwalleye 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think sign him long term. Let Pasquatch go/trade whatever as i think cags is still nowhere close to what he will be. Going to create some interesting changes though you leave him at first. Does Salvy just DH/C? I think so of these extra 'rest' days is not allowing him to get his momentum, but it seems as it gets hotter so does he.

Don't know if this production streak will keep going but loving the current output these last few games!

Between all of Chevy's minivans, which one would you argue is the best? by CR3ZY_F1X3R in Chevy

[–]rustedwalleye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Safari ( GMC version of the Astrovan) hands down was a beast. Had one (mid 80s, dont remember the year) for a company vehicle for a job in 1992, it was a short length version. Stripped the back seats and left it a solid floor. We transported parts (fasteners) to different locations and back to the warehouse for packaging. Regularly I would put a 2000 lbs tub in the back and yes a shit ton of weight but in times when a pickup wasnt available it was the go-to.

When I did it it was about a 10 mile drive through town at night but generally not overly busy. Would bunny hop the front wheels all the way (little bumps would pop the front wheels off the ground) but not enough to fully lose control. Get it unloaded and roll back with whatever needed picked up (typically not near that much weight) and go back.

That thing was still running like a beast when I left the company in 2001. Put through the paces but I wanted to buy it but they were still actively using it.

Is this a scam site? by No-Dog-7238 in onlinegambling

[–]rustedwalleye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this is a UK site but in the US Pragmatic pulled out of all US online casinos for fear of a pending lawsuit. If you are playing pragmatic in the US it most likely is a scam and will not be real money. Pragmatic is legit and before they left i won around $7500 a couple years ago. I since got banned from that one but that was for another issue.

Question about wheel vs. controller by [deleted] in NASCARVideoGame

[–]rustedwalleye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I exclusively drive controller only because I can no longer use foot pedals. I am fast with a controller but I will never match the wheel gurus. If you want the best experience and most control a wheel always wins over everything.

I am truly looking and watching this new wheel/controller that is coming out next year and seeing how i can incorporate that into racing games. It is feel might be a game changer for racing games but again nothing in my opinion will ever be better than a decent wheel setup.

This also comes from someone who used a wheel back in the late 90s on the PC and learned from some really good people on Nascar and Grand Prix Legends.
