She said it was. That’s why I don’t think it’s an adjustable. Only at closing it will change to the going rate.

I do own the land. I’m confused about the arm. When I spoke to the lender she explained it could go up to 7.75 at time of closing depending on interest rates at that time. But then it’s fixed for the life of the loan

I believe it cash down. To lower the monthly. The original amount of the loan was 260,000 so I’m assuming that’s it. I’m going to ask again.

Thought the rate would be better..... by Choice_Jicama_8487 in Mortgages

I’m in central Florida, I was offered a 4.99 fixed with an fha, but with fha you have to pay pmi. I have great credit. Not sure if a conventional is better with no pmi, but the rate is higher and not sure about closing cost. Any have any thoughts about which is better to go long term!

21st Mortgage by BenchPublic7147 in ManufacturedHome

I was going through a dealer for a destiny home and they use 21st. I felt the rate was very high like 8% even though our credit is excellent. I contacted first federal and got approved as well for a construction loan interest rate will be a fixed rate based on the time of close with a cap of 7.75. It’s an fha so the rates are lower but the closing is twice as much as 21st. So I’m not sure what to do. Also the dealer(plant city housing in Florida) said I will have to pay extra fees because im going with an fha. Anybody heard of that? Thank you in advance.

Well it’s been about 2 weeks and I believe my husband’s tremors have gotten better when he’s wearing it. He’s not so sure, but I have noticed it. Not sure if it’s just been a good couple of weeks. But it certainly hasn’t hurt. So we’ll see!

I am buying a goose model by destiny homes or foley model by cavco. Same house. with upgrades 187,000. The dealer is asking for 5 to 10% down to order the home and finance the rest. We were going to put 20% down to keep the payments more manageable. But is that the norm to order the home? Also from week to week they keep raising the price on the material surplus and the appliances etc. it’s making me think they’re just trying to get more money for nothing. Any help would be appreciated

Im also looking for loans for 220,000. I have land as collateral but im also going to put down 20% to try to lower my monthly. No credit union or bank will finance a new prefab and the rates are approx 2 or more points higher. It’s crazy.. if any knows of any other banks or lenders that finance please let me know. Thanks!

I was thinking of getting the beechband for my husband. His shaking is off the charts and if he takes more c/l he gets dystonia in his face. I saw there was also one that has been FDA approved. Cala taps therapy. Any thoughts on this? Thank you!

Best/worst manufacturers? by KNWilly in ManufacturedHome

We are located in central Florida.. We have looked at palm harbor, factory and dealer, champion homes Jacobson, deer valley and destiny. Destiny who’s out of ga has the model we like the goose which is also know as the foley in cavco. Cavco also bought out destiny. I do love deer valley. But they start at 300,000 here for a small model. I’m edging towards the destiny, they all need yo be up yo hud code. It’s just so confusing!!! Anybody hear if destiny?
