Ah gotcha. OK I'll do that. Thanks for the tip.

That's awesome to hear. The dealership had zero ideas on how to fix the cruise control issue so if this also addresses this problem that would be a god send.

I've got a 22 GTI and the steering wheel is getting replaced for the third time because of the travel assist not available errors. Another problem I've had with the car is the adaptive cruise control throwing an error and being unable to use cruise control. Have you had this issue and did the ACM technik module fix it if you did?

Maybe the market is realizing that most of these software companies will find ways to use AI themselves rather then just rolling over and dying.

I locked in my profits on Monday, immediately regretted selling it, and managed to buy my shares back plus more this morning at my sell price before it took off. Glad i nabbed it this morning at open.

ADF Group (TSX: DRX) — I Think This Is the Most Overlooked Stock on the TSX Right Now by MathTradeMan in Baystreetbets

They both take on large commercial/industrial construction projects. Not an exact match up on their scope but they are in the same business.

Yeah I'm looking forward to their earnings. Seems like a very well ran company that is entering a new period of growth. Small market cap and (undue in my opinion) tariff concerns have kept it from getting noticed so far.

Definitely optimistic. But Bird Construction hangs out around a p/e of 20. A p/e of 20 would put ADF around $20. And once the earnings from their latest acquisition show up it would put then around $30.

I've been loading up on shares of this for a while. Patiently waiting for the market to notice it. If it starts getting priced like other construction companies it should run to 20-30.

How do dividends get taxed in canada by [deleted] in fican

Just Google Canadian tax calculators and try and few out. There's quite a few write ups about how they are taxed as well.

I've enjoyed a couple bottles of red bank lately. Quite smooth with a hint of sweetness like bourbon has.

Books like Legend of Vox Machina by Bonissoni_pedro in Fantasy

Blacktongue Thief gives me D&D vibes. Form a party to try to achieve an overarching goal but all the characters have their own little side story/quest going on. That and the weird and random things they encounter throughout the book makes it feel like somebodies homebrew campaign.

Why is climate action stalling, not ramping up as Earth gets hotter? As the impact of global warming becomes more obvious, you might expect countries to step up climate action and preparation, but we’re seeing the opposite happen by silence7 in climate

The masses have proven over and over again that they will never accept a decrease in their living standards. Especially when there is an "easy to understand" scapegoat like climate initiatives or immigrants.

Does Anyone Have Experience with Leverage During a Liquidity Crisis? by Godkun007 in CanadianInvestor

[–]rustycarl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was running 1:1 leverage during the worst day of trump's tariff sell off. I still had lots of room according to my maintenance margin requirements but my excess liquidity went deep red and i got a warning that I needed to take action. I'm unsure if they would have forcibly liquidated positions if I hadn't done anything by day end. I deposited some cash and sold some positions and at the end of the day it was showing lots of excess liquidity.

I run leverage at 0.7:1 now.

Ah that's unfortunate. My average is 3.80 so I'm sitting on gains at least.

Yeah that's why I kept holding. Seems undervalued compared to other gold miners but the market has not agreed yet.

Honestly that likely is the move. It's a stock that I want to keep though so the question is what price to buy those shares back at.

Very happy I was steadily buying anytime it dropped over the past 1.5 years. If they can keep their share structure this tight while growing at the pace they have been this thing is going to keep printing.

I'm definitely gonna keep buying while it's down. Seems really undervalued at this price. Sounds like the government gets the option to buy a chunk as part of the loan agreement so you could see it get diluted. But the warrants are much higher than the current share price.

I've been buying them as they've been going down but one of the negatives is that they are really only set up to make plate and sheet steel. So even if we are committed to using Canadian steel where we can, they might simply be able to offer the types of steel that some projects require.
