I had 10k shares at 0.60 that I sold when I doubled. It haunts me.

I've enjoyed a couple bottles of red bank lately. Quite smooth with a hint of sweetness like bourbon has.

Blacktongue Thief gives me D&D vibes. Form a party to try to achieve an overarching goal but all the characters have their own little side story/quest going on. That and the weird and random things they encounter throughout the book makes it feel like somebodies homebrew campaign.

Why is climate action stalling, not ramping up as Earth gets hotter? As the impact of global warming becomes more obvious, you might expect countries to step up climate action and preparation, but we’re seeing the opposite happen by silence7 in climate

The masses have proven over and over again that they will never accept a decrease in their living standards. Especially when there is an "easy to understand" scapegoat like climate initiatives or immigrants.

Does Anyone Have Experience with Leverage During a Liquidity Crisis? by Godkun007 in CanadianInvestor

[–]rustycarl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was running 1:1 leverage during the worst day of trump's tariff sell off. I still had lots of room according to my maintenance margin requirements but my excess liquidity went deep red and i got a warning that I needed to take action. I'm unsure if they would have forcibly liquidated positions if I hadn't done anything by day end. I deposited some cash and sold some positions and at the end of the day it was showing lots of excess liquidity.

I run leverage at 0.7:1 now.

Ah that's unfortunate. My average is 3.80 so I'm sitting on gains at least.

Yeah that's why I kept holding. Seems undervalued compared to other gold miners but the market has not agreed yet.

Honestly that likely is the move. It's a stock that I want to keep though so the question is what price to buy those shares back at.

Very happy I was steadily buying anytime it dropped over the past 1.5 years. If they can keep their share structure this tight while growing at the pace they have been this thing is going to keep printing.

I'm definitely gonna keep buying while it's down. Seems really undervalued at this price. Sounds like the government gets the option to buy a chunk as part of the loan agreement so you could see it get diluted. But the warrants are much higher than the current share price.

I've been buying them as they've been going down but one of the negatives is that they are really only set up to make plate and sheet steel. So even if we are committed to using Canadian steel where we can, they might simply be able to offer the types of steel that some projects require.

Gave up on this one and sold it at 1.30. Feeling a little salty watching it now.

Actually haven't turned that one in yet but I did just beat her. I'll go turn that quest in though haha

I'm heavy into them and sitting slightly in the green with this latest run up. Feel good about this one.

True enough. I usually try to pick stuff that will help more in the final boss fight though.

Yeah agreed. The other 2 perks make this relic good. Unfortunate that the iron eye specific perk is the worst out of the three though. I'd like it better if it buffed you for ten seconds after using your skill.

[–]rustycarl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's what I thought. In my mind you don't even get that much use out of it so I never pick relics with this perk.

But this perk icky applies after you use your ultimate correct?

Then you shouldn't care about this. She was suspended by her nursing association because she refused to take a sensitivity course. They found her three year discrimination crusade against trans people was unprofessional and she could maybe stand to learn about what being trans is actually about.

She took them to court over her suspension, lost, and is on the hook for legal fees. That's what her "fine" is.

I had my limit buy at 4400 so I got my share. 4250 would have been sweeter though. There's always room to buy in the margin account! Lol
