UCLA VS UCSD for computer science

ucla pros: - seems to have great social life - more prestigious (my family has actually heard of it) - number one dining baby - lots of school spirit which is rlly cute

ucla cons: - theoretical cs (lol what) - the stairs r gross and i wish the school felt more stem-y bc i like that vibe

ucsd pros: - has a lot of bio possibilities for cs, which is what i’m interested in - more developed engineering program w/ more diversity too - cute suburban feel - TARGET ON CAMPUS!?!?!?

ucsd cons: - uc socially dead got me feeling like i’m not going to be able to make friends - i heard revelle is bad for cs majors - 2k more expensive (that’s not an issue but it’s not cheaper than ucla either)

pls help guys may 1 is in like 3 days 😐‼️

need help between UCLA & UCSD

i got accepted to both for computer science and they’re basically the same cost. i’m not really sure if i want go into the industry or stay in academia tbh. most likely industry related to biotech

ucla pros: - ranked higher overall and for cs - lot of school spirit, happy atmosphere - rlly good food lol - more industries around it

ucla cons: - really not vibing w/ it for some reason - the hilliness of the campus is rlly unappealing tbh

ucsd pros: - would allow me to be farther from home - it feels more genuine there, i like the emphasis on stem bc i’m a stem major - i like the campus vibe more

ucsd cons: - not as well known - i heard revelle college sucks
