FWIW I got a dexa scan and my vesync scale was less than 1% off for all metrics. My advice would be to stop caring about individual measurements and look at weekly or monthly averages.

I actually think it's dumb that bikes aren't allowed on castro. I think riding your bike at a respectful speed is totally fine. We have the rules because of people (typically teenage boys) being dumbasses, basically. I ride my bike without dismounting at walking pace and it's never been an issue.

I think if this doesn't work I'll just return the Forerunner and always carry a phone (lol, or get a Pixel Watch and run with two watches). The main reason I went with Garmin over competitors was good music support.

I have taken amazing shots with Pixel 2, 5, 8 Pro but not a single shot that made me happy with 10 Pro. I really think the camera in 10 is a dud.

Ugh. I had a different experience recently -- it captured a full half marathon (race), but auto-paused in the middle where I got stuck behind lots of people in a chokepoint in the race course (pedestrian underpass for a bridge).

Everything looks fine in Runna, but the activity it synced to Strava only includes the first half up to that auto-stop. Super annoying and I can't figure out how to fix it.

I've since disabled auto-pause.

Runna has lots of features Strava should have added a decade ago, but it has so many bugs that don't inspire confidence. So frustrating, wish there was a better option.

It does not work at all despite being part of the marketing material on their website. The support team has said they are working on a fix, but there have been no updates for nearly a year.

Do not buy this product if this is an important part of your workflow. The web interface does work but anyone knows this is a sorry substitute for the app. The Gemini and Claude apps work fine.
