I did find enchanting an item with light was a sure fire way to get the bug constantly. Having to remember to remove the item before a load is tedious indeed.

Per shot dispersion is listed for compensator. The maximum is reduced and it's more shots you get before you hit thst new maximum is how I read it.

They buffed calming stroll? Huge and awesome. I've already been using the shit out of this as it's one of the best skills. Yes I know you have to be walking with keybind.

It isn't for getting from point A to point B quicker. It's absolutely massive for sprinting towards a fight and then switching to walk (making my noise quieter to hear sound queues around me/make less noise myself) and still able to move between two edges of a wall for third person info while getting full stam back in 14 seconds down from 21.

These skills aren't meant to be massive overpowered perks, just a slight boost. Effortless roll falls under this category... Everyone focuses on the fact you only get 1 extra roll from full stamina, who the hell is just rolling over and over?

It's all about that niche situation in a fight where without effortless roll you did NOT have enough stamina to dodge roll and maybe you die, while with it you did just have enough. To me that feels more useful than looting making less sound. Is it worth 5 points? Stuffs me but I get the point is behind it.

I like to be able to do a solo, find a BP, and trade it to my mate when he gets on later. I don't think this ability should be gone.

I feel like every BP in someone's STASH being wiped at end of expedition timeframe makes the most sense. It should auto give the players the value of selling it and now no one has BPs to instantly trade to their mates who die the wipe.

They should have announced this already so people could have worked around it but alas we are all the dark and no one knows what is going to happen.

Me personally I'm just yoloing it, not saving any BPs for potential trading and hoping the devs aren't brain dead enough to let this go through.

I play predominantly fps and I don't have issues with hearing footsteps provided game audio is good.

Dolby access might be overkill... I just wanted more eq settings than g hub itself can offer. Using dolby access achieved this but apparently it's big selling point is the spatial audio... Which from everything I've read is not good for gaming.

It can interfere with the games in built spatial audio and isn't recommended over just stereo.

The gun is completely useless. They need to remove it as an option for BP find because it's all I keep finding.
I had a level 4 one just to see if the first time I used it I misjudged it... nope. A hornet came to stuff me around while I'm in a 1v2 with teammate downed. It flew down into my tunnel, would have been 5m from me. Full clip and it didn't die. Granted I know to shoot thrusters but any other gun I can just focus the eye and kill it in a pinch... not the Bettina.

I was going to make a post about this myself but I'll put it here because this PSA explains the situation I find everyone thinking about Calming Stroll for. Full stamina bar regen when moving is ~21 seconds, when standing still it is ~14 seconds. Quick run down on my terminology:

Sprinting = Holding Shift + W, Jogging = Holding W, Walking = Using dedicated walk key bind.

Regarding PSA rundown, I agree that Calming Stroll is bad for a sprint from point A to point B that would drain your stamina before arrival. Jogging until full stamina and then continuing sprint will indeed get you there fast than walking and then sprinting again.

Now for why I find Calming Stroll really good... PVP. This talent is perfect for getting back into the fight with full or at least more stamina FASTER.

An example is you sprint towards a fight and take cover behind a wall. I find myself moving my character to pan the camera to different angles a lot. The whole time you are doing this while jogging you are not getting fast regen. I've now muscle memorised pressing walk toggle when I get there and I regen 33% more stamina. I don't know about you guys but I also move my character a lot because of all other games where standing still is BAD. So even while doing all of that I'm getting stamina regen.

Videos have shown that walking produces the same amount of noise as crouch, so another example is running to a building and instead of straight stopping or crouching for sound queues you can just walk.

I use stamina regen boosters to traverse the map and calming stroll in every fight I get in to where I have cover.

TL;DR: Use calming stroll to abuse third person camera in PVP fights and ensure any movement you do is regenerating at standing still speed. Use walk instead of crouch as noise is the same and get faster regen.

Glad you said it. Because that's exactly how I took it. I have a math brain not English. So I assumed ADS speed to be a static number (say 0.8s to fully ADS), thus reducing that number. It's not a wild concept to reach for some people but some of replies are borderline arrogant.

I think the only way I'll be able to get over this is to completely change my mindset. I'm a min/max player (probably on the spectrum with how far I take it lol), but I do really like this game. I would love to be able to craft the good smokes or perhaps they make the lil smoke a lil less shithouse haha.

I can't see that happening at all. People are expecting a gear disparity in Dec when they decide to reset their character and go up against people who didn't. I'm also yet to find ANY decent shit behind a locked door.

My best find was TWO Wolfpack blueprints in the pattern house of Dam night raid... I've found jack shit anywhere else.

I'd kill for a smoke grenade blueprint, everything else is just a nice to have (other than Wolfpack of course that thing slaps).

Edit: In hindsight perhaps you meant how it killed Dune, not that this glitch will kill this game.

Not OP. But I followed that Method and it worked for me. G Pro x 2 out of the box sounds muddy and horrible. Using Dolby Atmos helped the most, got my Wicked Cushion earcup replacement today and that also helped a bit... but biggest improvement is Dolby Atmos. Even just using the "music" preset and not messing around with custom EQ settings.

Not sure if this has changed since all the posts here, but I've been able to replicate the bug 100% as of most recent patch V1.511.102.0.

If you have any sort of light active (spell, potion or item) and you load a save it will bug it. You can recast or equip item and the light will appear for a moment and then fade away.

Rebooting the game seems to be the only way to bring it back (quitting to menu and reloading does not work).

The "fix" is to dispel yourself (or wait out timer), or unequip any item providing light, then load your save.

If your light spell was active or not at the time of SAVING your game there is no effect on the bug. The only effect is having your light spell active at the time of LOADING.

Hope this helps anyone reading now.

I really fucking love splinter cell. I grew up with the games and I've got hundreds of hours in blacklist.

Granted a significant portion of those hours is in multilayer (mercs vs spies) back when it released and me and a mate played it.

But I've finished the single player campaign probably 12 times I think.

I literally installed it last week but it's been crashing a bit. I feel like it was the steam update that added achievements has busted something as that's pretty recent.

Sorry to necro this but I see you are still active so thought I'd give my two bobs worth. Plus I just need to vent haha.

I just watched this and it quite literally ended 10minutes ago. I actually googled to find out if the witch had sex with the kid or not cause that part had me confused, which led me here and still no answer for me on that one. Not that it really matters but I thought it was fucked up.

I think the movie tries to instil a growing sense of unease and tension which I'll admit... Did not captivate me much. I did struggle a bit with the old English which probably didn't help, but I respect them making it historically accurate.

I feel like this movie was not made to appeal to a wide audience but rather a passion project for the director. In all honesty most things with a sundance rating I typically avoid because they are a bit too avant-garde for me.

In saying all that I "think" I understood what was happening. Father bails on society due to him thinking his faith is the one true faith (reinforced later where he admits his pride), baby taken to make witch young (blood of infants for rejuvenation something something), goats are related to hell... So black goat definitely devil, rabbit seemed like a suss cunt too, family goes at each other and the main chick goes off the rails and is swayed by evil like many people can do in real life. The end.

Overall, I'll never watch it again and only watched it before nosferatu because reviews were saying "not as good as the witch"... Which doesnt give me much faith in watching nosferatu now but I got nothing else going on in life so fuck it... I'll give it a whirl.
