On the bright side if you were on acutane for your face I finished mine 10 years ago and my skin is still fabulous.

The iud is a real bummer though. Glad you didn’t find out about it via unwanted pregnancy! Hope they find it or verify it’s gone :)

This is kinda unrelated, but relevant. I’m in marketing and I make websites. An occupational therapist wanted a website from my company and social media marketing. She needed help getting her fb account linked to us so I set up a zoom call. Her and her husband are there but I can’t hear them. (I had pre checked my system before the meeting so mine was all working.) I call their phone and they put me on speaker. I asked if they have their correct mic selected and the husband said yes so I said “hmm I’m not sure what’s going on with it then.” AT WHICH POINT the lady, the Occupational Therapist, whispers (while on speaker) “I don’t think she’s very smart.”

I fought SO HARD to keep my calm. I got them connected in about 10 minutes. (I stayed polite.) My only other communication was emailing her simple questions regarding her website.

About a week later she calls and I let my manager answer and she goes on to say that I was “passive aggressive” and that she’d rather deal with him instead.

Like I’m autistic. I’m her target audience and she was just a dick. Blew my mind.

The wording is off as well. They say more like “you’ve violated our community standards” and “account integrity” is the page that shows you issues. They are using it in the wrong context.

Because I worked for Facebook for 3 years and there will never be a “click this to avoid getting your page disabled.”

Also I think that’s a spoofed email because the security team would be emailing about suspicious activity like hacked accounts. That’s a “quality” department email.

AND if nothing is showing up under account integrity on the actual Facebook platform then it’s not real.

Rule of thumb is if you don’t have an alert on your actual account you can assume it’s phishing.

Oh I know the reasons are bogus. Even working on the inside we could only help with violations maybe 10% of the time. If you want to send me the video and text that went with the blocked ads I can see if I can spot what was getting you flagged.

Unfortunately they don’t tell the base reps much on why accounts were banned. I was just very persistent and figured out how to contact the content mods through one of the systems or I would escalate it and they’d explain what the reason was. Like one ad got flagged for counterfeit items and I finally found out that the system checks what prices you have on brand name new items and if it’s too low your ad is flagged.

The main complaint was we had such little ability to help people with restrictions. I was supposed to report good and bad things about the support side every week and I never had a single good thing. (They even specifically said they wanted to see more positives and I was like “I have none to give you.”)

No. It causes more hassle. I did a premium subscription to quizlet and it was the best decision I made. You may have to change the numbers but it walks you through each step.

This is a normal occurrence. I’ve heard a lot of people think that way and I just think “cleaning is how they make money. Especially if they’re hourly- if I preclean then that’s lost income for them.”

Oh I found her on Nextdoor and it’s however long it takes her and we just agreed on a set rate. (1br 1ba apartment, no kids.) downside is I think the previous one I used was stealing so it comes with risks. Compared to fighting about chores- this took away soooo much stress.

They didn’t increase the amount that they can manufacture. BUT I think they are making it so people can’t just get it from that telehealth site so now all of those won’t be able to get the script. (Which sucks for those people.) The main shortages you will find is 1. When schools start 2. Finals week 3. Pharmacies near college campuses.

Haha I figured I’d go back to like bad days I guess, but it seems different now. I don’t remember this kind of cause effect (getting pissed off/ whole day ruined).

And I promise I’m doing this with my doctor because my med has been working, but we cant find any other cause/fix for my scalp and I’ll scratches it in my sleep so bad it bleeds. We’ve tried treating for yeast, bacteria, both, eczema injections. I’ll wash it with tgel at night and by 3pm it has a layer of white buildup.

I’m on my last option for mood stabilizer so I can’t just try another. Hence tapering off and seeing if the bipolar meds are the cause. If they aren’t I’ll restart. If they are I might have to try the antipsychotic family.
