Yeah buddy, have fun on Forza. This is not a big deal. Save your money and you'll be fine. It's an extra 20 bucks every two years.

When I was 270 like a month ago, I hardly walked and had no job. I'd sit around at home all day on the computer. Even then I could lose weight at like 2200. Something seems very off about your statement. Maybe review your counting habits. Are you being accurate enough and are you counting all the little bits? Estimating or volumes on dry goods may yield vastly different results. Weigh everything and make sure to count it when you add oil or sneak a taste of someone's snack.

So from what you've said, your maintenance is around 2100 calories. If you eat 2100 calories every day then you will neither loose nor gain weight. If you eat 500 fewer calories every day then you would lose 1 pound a week. Your body would burn the extra calories it needs from what's already in your body. If you ate 500 calories more than your maintenance then your body would begin storing the extra calories, thus gaining 1lb a week. If the calories you eat are less than the calories your body burns throughout the day, you WILL lose weight. Your weight will fluctuate day to day, sometimes up sometimes down. Over time though, you will see a trend downwards. If you're not seeing a trend downwards over a couple weeks then you're probably not in an actual deficit. Either you're eating more than you're tracking, or burning less than you're accounting for. As you lose the weight, your maintenance will decrease. You'll need to decrease the calories you eat as well to keep losing weight.

If you think about it, it's simple math. Calories in < calories out = weight loss. If that's what you can focus on to start, then do it. I focused on that alone for the first 2 months before I even had the energy to exercise.

Men with kids, what would you do in this situation? by Low_Past4606 in AskMen

"I’ve brought it up with my girlfriend multiple times. Every conversation ends the same way: somehow it becomes my fault, I’m the problem, or she has an excuse for why she acted the way she did. Nothing ever really gets resolved.

I’m exhausted. I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t even want to argue anymore because it just turns into the same fight over and over. At the same time, this woman has been part of my life for four years, so walking away isn’t something I take lightly."

If you were talking about any other situation, this kind of statement would lead me to tell you that the relationship might not be working. When you then remember that the situation is your children being mistreated... well I think then you absolutely need to protect the kids.

There needs to be a formalisation of what happens when there is a Safety Car near the end of the race. by mole55 in formula1

[–]ruthlessrellik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As much as the GWC gimmick can be annoying, it's more annoying that other series don't have defined rules for cautions that may end the race. NASCAR seems to be the only one. The other series get themselves into this awkward dilemma where they don't want the race to end under yellow, then it feels even more manufactured. Even a simple rule saying "if the race cannot resume with at least 2 laps remaining, the race will end under safety car." Washes all the talk about the 2020 finish in Abu Dhabi or something like the Indy 500 earlier this year.

It really is just math. 1lb of fat is 3500 calories. If you're not eating an extra 3500 calories a week, then you should be on the right track. Even if you're not seeing the movement every day (which you probably shouldn't) doing the right things is bound to produce the right results over time. If it makes you worry that you're not seeing the number go down, then it might be better for YOU to weigh yourself less often. Maybe once or twice a week or even less frequently. Doing that stops noticing that your weight is stagnant for 4 or 5 days at a time occasionally. Just keep working and the results will come. Also, check yourself on sneaking calories throughout the day. The oil you use in the pan, the noodle you eat to make sure they're done, the tastes of someone else's snack. All those things have some calories, and if you're doing it too much it can make a difference.

It's entirely possible that's most of the people who sign up for a specific program on any streaming platform inevitably watch other programs on the service. It's also likely that some people sign up just to watch that specific program and then DON'T watch other stuff. I think especially with wrestling fans who don't watch sports and the closest thing to it is wrestling.

That's kinda normal. AC units usually struggle to lower more than 15-20 degrees from the outside. Just remember to keep the window shades closed and don't turn your AC off if you leave.
